Yesterday's broadcast has had its issues. We all saw it. There are 10+ pages of whining. There is an entirely new cast going on now. Please keep whining about issues experienced yesterday to yourself going forward in the thread and allow other people to enjoy the games. |

We won't see another Sen vs BoxeR :/ Yeah specially since Boxers game is based heavily on micro and unit control. He isnt really known for his macro. Poor boxer i feel bad for him.

Sentry count will be completely normal. Any excess units are hidden in his main; all you'll see is a nexus and an army designed to look like a normal 3-gate expansions's army.

Spanishiwa spoiled the result on his stream by accident, so yes anyone posting it is an idiot.

Y casting better, but Damn 4 gate is so boring ((

When I do it I have roughly the same amount of sentries. maybe 1 or 2 less. I like sentries.

What if it was only possible to place a forcefield on a ramp if you have vision of the high ground?
So you would still be able to defensively throw down forcefields from the top of your ramp, but you couldn't just exploit the ramp in the way this specific PvZ build does.
Thoughts?

Don't get me wrong I don't think any of us wants to watch close pos, but why choose this version of the map in the first place? It was announced the maps will be updated including close spawns
Thanks for being so quick to respond to community criticism.

The extra 2 gateways only came online when the nexus was cancelled. Until he cancelled the nexus, Socke had exactly the same army composition as a standard 3gate expand. The only way to scout this build is to get inside the Protoss player's base and see the additional gateways.

I think the observer could still improve (this game was not really difficult to obs) but the casting has improved a lot. I especially like Gretorps casting better since he is not overhyping that much anymore.

It's so obvious they're taking criticism seriously, and they've delivered 70-75% of what could have been hoped. People just need to chill, and stop acting like this has been a repeat of MLG Dallas

stop crying about balance already...if idra puts ONE spinecrawler there before the oh so fearsome timing attack, he couldve held it...

When each sentry can FF the ramp maybe twice by the time you get there, and each FF lasts 15 seconds, yes it pretty much is an eternity.
Hopefully this 2nd game will play more to Idra's strengths.

"He played greedy against that"?
Seriously, what kind of inane comment is that? Idra scouted as best as can humanly be expected and reacted pretty damn fast. Unless you make 2 or 3 spines every game and overproduce units, thats an insanely hard push to stop.

If you actually read TL rules, asking for a mod to ban someone can get you banned as well.. and for people who actually gave away who won, they obviously shouldn't have but I think it's important to mention that ppl who spoil shit should be outed so they will won't do it again in the future..

Depends a lot on positions...

Forcefield the ramp, target roaches with zealots until lings arrive in which case they need to shield sentries, focus any distant/possible drone-surround spines with stalkers, etc - all intuitive micro choices. Only thing that 50 apm player would _lack_ is inability to play a proper macro game, so you could sacrifice economy against them by playing extra safe anyway.
