You know whats the best feeling for a die hard boxer fan? If he actually plays really good starcraft.
Those games suprised me so much. For me those games looked like this: BOTH players with good micro, good macro and good builds and not a whole lot of mistakes. It all came down to BattleMicro, Multitasking and positioning. Just awesome! Boxer hwaitiiinnn ... slayers hwaitinnnn ... KARA for GSL :-p

Sen wins the first push = Sen goes on to win the series
Boxer wins the first push/drop = Boxer goes on to win the series.

Epic games, but in hindsight they were all decided kind of early on. Then Sen/Boxer just took 20 minutes to realise they'd lost.

Sen takes the outer nat at 3.5 instead of his inner natural. Boxer with standard rax-OC, no gas yet.

Boxer walls off his nat ramp. He also takes double gas after expo-ing to his inner nat. Then makes another rax, then a fact. Sen with ling speed started, pulls drones off gas afterwards. He drones up hard.

5:55
Boxer with a fast Starport, with a techlab+reactor in the rax. Combat shileds starts, eliminating banshee play. Starport moves onto a reactor, makes a viking+medivac.

7:50
Boxer loads up a drop with a Viking escort. He drops the outer natural. Drones are evacuated. Marines start on the OL. Drones attack the marines as lings arrive. Boxer picks up the marines and has only lost 2. Another drop arrives again to drop the outer nat, original drop goes to the main instead. Sen doesn't have the queens to defend. Viking goes around killing off OLs.

Sen holds the drop, but Boxer has teched up, with tanks out. Sen still ahead in workers, 44 to 40.

11:10
Boxer with the standard stim+siege+bio weapons all upgrading. Sen getting Lair and +1 carapace. Boxer takes a 3rd at his outer nat, Lair is only half done. Boxer kills off rocks in the middle giving him a clear attack path. +1 bio armour on the way as well.

Stream freezes for me.

12:40
Sen attacks into the terran force just as the tanks try to siege up. Boxer survives and moves into the outer nat, but Sen gets a surround. Boxer with great micro and picks up his units wit medivacs and retreats.

Lair now done for Sen.

14:30
Okay, stream has synched back up for me. Sorry if I've missed any details.

Boxer roaming with marines, getting mech weapons upgrades, and +2 bio weapons. Spire done for Sen. Boxer attacks the 3rd again, picks up his marines just as the bane explodes losing nothing. His micro is go good.

Sen double-expos to 6 and the bottom left.

Boxer moves out with a mass of marines and tanks. He drops the hat at 6 and kill it. Terran ball moves into the middle and sieges up.

Drop sniped from Boxer.

17:50
Boxer channelling his inner-Oov, macroing up armies out of thin air. I swear he's cheating. Boxer keeps stimming to defend his tanks from mutas. +3 bio weapons on the way for Boxer and +3 melee for Sen. The armies dance in the middle.

Mutas move in, snipe some marines. Banes kill some roaming marines. The armies stare down at each other.

20:00
Sen swings around with a flank but Boxer has great positioning and kills it all. Boxer moves out to kill Sen's 4th and 5th at 6 and the bottom left. Sen counters, attacking the inner 12 expo from Boxer. He loses 3 mutas to marines in his trade. +3 bio weapons done for Boxer now. +2 mech weapons almost done, and +3 bio armour.

Terran army gets cleaned up at the bottom left. Sen rebuilds his hat.

Boxer cheats up another army and pushes the outer nat. Is this Boxer or Oov?

Sen tries to break the tank line, but great positioning. Sen loses his army and knows he can't hold.

He ggs.

Yup. Sen's only fault in this series is not using his Tier 3 units.

And Boxer wins.

That wasn't your average masters play where you attack when you have enough units, BoxeR did everything he could to delay lair tech, Sen simply couldn't reach tier 3, it's not like he chose not to use his tier 3, that was brilliant play by the Emperor, he's strategic-wise at the utmost top of starcraft.

The attack in the middle was so, so, so bad. The right side attack hugged the wall as tightly as possible while it got focused by the tanks and absolutely destroyed. The few banelings that made it through the fire targeted the tanks then. Very no bueno. Not positive what sen should have done, but I don't think that was it.
