For all of you posting questions that have already been answered...is it too much to read?
There was a fee for spectators at Dallas, but it's definitely 100% worth it, plus it supports esports.
Also, I dislike all the people whining about the stream from Dallas when Sundance has accepted and taken WAY MORE then his share of the responsibility. From what we were told at the venue is that it was the local internet and as far I can see there is no way to prevent that. It takes a ton of to pull off one of these events for Sc2, but lets not forget...they are also hosting other games as well!
In short, if you think you could do a better job running a tournament. Do it. I'm sure people would love to watch a perfect tournament, until then I will enjoy what MLG has to offer.

Spectator passes will be going on sale very soon. When they are released, I will make a post here.

KELLY FIGHTING!

I am probably going to this event. I'm from the Pittsburgh area. If I do go, I will have 2 to 3 seats available for anyone trying to hitch a ride for a small fee. Just giving a heads up to anyone around the area interested.

Hmm, it's only a 5.5hr drive to this one. If I have that weekend free I might make the trip down to check it out .

A few things.
MLG Hotel: There was an error with the hotel's booking system that was showing the hotel to be full. That will be resolved by end of business 4/21/11 according to our hotel contact. There are other options on the MLG website if you do not want to stay at the Crowne Plaza, or if it does sell out (which I believe it will). http://pro.majorleaguegaming.com/competitions/17
MLG issues from Dallas: I know many of you are skeptical after our Dallas outing, and I know that an update of 'we are working very hard to fix it' will not cut it. That being said, in the next few weeks look for a very distinct list of fixes/improvements we'll be making going into Columbus on everything from the stream to the live event. We don't want to release items piece mail and we don't want to announce anything until it is final.
Thank you for sticking with us. We deserved everything we received after Dallas. If anyone has questions, feel free to email me at:

They're going to be cementing the internet pipes before the tournament as to prevent any faults in the stream.
Realistically there's only so much they can do to provide a quality stream, if the internet of the venue decides to bug out or some other bizarre act of nature as much as it is a terrible thing. It isn't on them.

I wont be supporting mlg this time, will watch free stream and/or just lookin up the results!

I will be there spectating! So excited

Thank you for all the details pertaining to the event. I'm currently going over details as to the whole trip, and it looks really exciting. Unfortunately though, I don't think any of my friends in my area would be interested in going to MLG or any gaming lan event in general. Would it be inappropriate to ask if anyone in the Northeast PA area is going as well?

What players are confirmed for this event? I mean in terms of invites and open bracket players?

The open bracket players won't be announced until after the registration ends. As for the other players, they will be announced as soon as possible when the information is known.
