I hope they (and think) that they'll do better just because of how disastrous it would be if they don't, but I'm not counting on it.

For those wondering about the hotel accommodations when I booked my room at the MLG hotel they claimed that we had taken the last room available with MLG's rates... Not sure if that's the case or not but the lady that we booked with claimed as much so if you hear anything about that when you go to book they might be giving you a hassle about it...
I've stayed in that hotel before and it is a very nice hotel that is directly connected to the convention center and therefore, very easy to access all the events and as such comes highly recommended. There are numerous other hotels within walking distance as well and some usually run shuttles to the Convention Center when their is an event like MLG at the venue.
Regardless, hope this helps out the masses and hope to see so many of you there and continue forming new and better relationships with players, fans, and companies! Is it June yet?

HuK is not going to win the next MLG with or without more players showing up

just to touch on this, we tried to book a room at the hotel and they DID say they were sold out. I don't remember where the hotel we actually booked is, but i think it is only 3 blocks away. so it seems the hotel in this link is SOLD OUT.

They can't make those promises because what happened at Dallas was out of their hands. It probably won't happen again because it's not the same venue, but they can't "fix" the problem in Dallas because it was something that happened with the local internet, off-site, that had absolutely nothing to do with MLG.

I don't know if any of you follow @MLG_Sundance on twitter, but here were some of the messages he sent out yesterday:
- Would folks be willing to help out with a pre-Cbus steaming test as we look to improve our delivery. Load a stream and give some feedback..
- Will be sure to push the testing live when we get it rolling. Will ask folks to fill out forms rating quality
- Will post stream testing details here and on @TeamLiquidnet once we get it set up. Should start in a week or so. lots to do before Cbus.
As soon as I see how you can be part of the testing crew, before Columbus to ensure that everything is where it needs to be, I will make sure everybody here is aware.
We are doing everything in our power to make sure Columbus and future events go as flawlessly as they can in respect to the LIVE Stream as well as the tournament it self.

Will easily tune into this and purchase another pass. Keep on making strides to improve the quality, you run quite an amazing event.

I sincerely hope that the debacle at Dallas was just a once in a lifetime event. You guys are going to be under heavy scrutiny and every little hiccup will be called out. Please deliver this time!

Deimos,
I know you guys have a lot to overcome and I hope everything works out well because I really want to see a great MLG event.
My question is to the live audience. Are you going to the fix the sound issue so that the live audience can hear the commentators while the players cannot? I'm going to attend the MLG Columbus no matter what but that's definitely a big thing to hear commentating live.

Deimos - Dreamhack stream is live at the moment. Please watch and take notes so MLG can learn how to run a live event.
MLG has so much potential but it was a horrible experience to watch last time and I, like thousands of other fans, want to enjoy it. I will be help to test the stream once it is up.

The answer is Yes. We will have real soundproof booths for #mlgcolumbus. @Killa_KC , MLGClap and I are working on it.

So I suggest to call the number listed in the OP, and make sure you say that you'd like to book a room with the special Major League Gaming rate.
