Hmmm... I don't see the full results anywhere in the OP which baffles me, only someone posted which player has how many wins a couple of pages ago. :s

Anyway, as I can derive from these standings Incontrol lost to Painuser and won the other games in his group? Man.... I thought incontrol was going to do well so I bet some money on him to win vs Painuser, now I come here and see he is first in the group and that is the only match he lost?

Sad panda ;(

Heres some more comprehensive results:

Open Bracket:

Most of them don't seem to say what the score for each match was, but you can see who beat who.

You don't go at a tournament saying : I'm gonna get crushed by everyone guys. Every gamer will have confidence at least in interviews if they are serious competitors...

Too bad about Catz going to the losers bracket, though

VODs will come in a few days. But there is a loop of the previous day playing when they're not live.

In an Interview he said that out of his group he fears Kiwikaki the most.

ah ok i mustve missed that one, even still i find it interesting how quick he is to call someone out as bad only to eat his own words.
i like idra but if he cant support his own trash talk (generalized toward a team or not) then he should zip his lips so he doesnt look foolish

IdrA is just saying he is better, which is the truth, he is way better than all these players. The point is in SC2 not always the best player wins

He loses => he's not better. He just has better mechanics. And one think he is too stupid or stubborn (or both) to understand, is that it's the game creator who makes the rules, not the players. He can think of excuses all the time, he might have a somewhat constant opinions about the state of the game, but it's poker players like KiWiKaKi who will always swipe the floor with him

You don't understand the game nor RTS games in general. Even in BW, which is much more skill rewarding and balanced, the worse players win all the time.

Don't quote me, but earlier in the thread i believe some said the VODs wont appear for quite some time(possibly weeks).

At any rate, the stream at the bottom of the first post in this thread is currently re-streaming the event, so there could be a game you want to watch on/coming up soon.

Vods comming in a few days? That doesn't seem very much like MLG, no offense. Normally it takes months. Maybe they got that sorted, would be nice.

Honestly, guy has a point. IdrA hasn't had a lot to show for recently, and I'm an IdrA fan so it's very disappointing. I keep thinking he'll just absolutely tear shit up somewhere but instead other Z just get further than him.

I don't think it's just an anti-fluke (no idea if that's a term), he's just not impressing as much lately. Maybe it'll change in this tournament, maybe not.

He didn't play all that well against Kiwikaki, but in general zergs haven't been doing well.

i wasn't saying that idra isn't a good player. on the contrary i think hes brilliant and the way he plays its both entertaining and very strong.
what i do think is his confidence somewhat gets ahead of himself at times. and consequently it seems like in his mind, he's already won the game that he hasnt played yet. i think if he respected his opponents more he would be more equipped to win.

Yep you can say anything about Idra but there is no zerg "MC" at the moment. Its just not easy to be consistent, especially in zvp

Dimaga is good, but he basicly 1:1 with MvP + won a zvz, he is having extremely hard time vs P nowdays, and so does Nestea

Slush is doing fine ^^. I suppose Haypro is doing well but he has to make his way through that Open Bracket, which seems quite the task. I don't know some of the people who are still in the Winner's Bracket of the Open Bracket, but I'm sure some are Zerg.

Err, I guess IdrA is just the best player in the world with the most lackluster results. What? How can you not see that he's not having the results he used to?

Fuck, he said July's zerg won't work at all but look what happened. He said a zerg couldn't get to the finals of Assembly, but oh. Moon got further in the IEM.

IdrA's not bad by any means, obviously. But the gap between IdrA and other foreigners is more or less diminished, or that's what it looks like these days.

Don't blame the race, Jesus. He's not been doing well lately, not compared to the domination he had before. At the same time other Z are doing incredibly well, just look at Dimaga's latest performance.

Dimaga won ZvZ, went 1-1 against a terran (if you count the game he would have lost) and lost 1-3 against a protoss

Slush is doing fine ^^. I suppose Haypro is doing well but he has to make his way through that Open Bracket, which seems quite the task. I don't know some of the people who are still in the Winner's Bracket of the Open Bracket, but I'm sure some are Zerg.

Well, Idra is 2-1 too and Slush had a much easier group, at least for a Zerg.

4 times in GSL is lackluster results? In that case there are only 2 or 3 zergs in the world with actual results. The problem is protoss players have finally figured out how to play PvZ.
