honestly Whitra deosn't deserve to blame San's 4gate.. he just got faked and that's why he lost-_-

Well he seems to dislike 4gates deeply (rightly so) so I actually find it ballsy to try out and outplay your opponent by choosing the risky build. Obviously winning would be better heh, but I actually respect him for trying to make a non-4gate build work at that level...

Dimaga is my hero after today, I love that guy.
PvP is actually in such a stupid state right now, it's similar to how zvz used to be all ling bane prior to some of the roach builds (and the range 4 roach). Hopefully the matchup can evolve similar to zvz's evolution. White-ra should've been prepared for San's style though, we know from watching his gsl games that his pvp isn't that good and he seems to prefer 4 gating. White-ra should've known that (you can argue that he did but he botched the execution of the 3 stalker rush build).
I really hope Dimaga can take San but Dimaga has said he isn't comfortable zvp and San has a sick pvz as evidenced by his beating Nestea and thewind.

As much as I like WhiteRa, if he was actually BMing about 4gate, it's pretty dumb and inexcusable.
If you're a pro, you simply adjust and try your best at mirror matchups - there are no balance complaints to be had, since it's a mirror matchup. True, there's sometimes a coin-flip element to them, but when you know that 4gate is generally a ridiculously strong opening that more often than not trumps other openings, you just do it and micro your ass off, instead of trying to be creative and work around the 4gate, fail, and complain.

San FIGHTING!
Seriously, 4 gate is a standard build. Did you know you can progress from a 4 gate if you defend it? Maybe even come out on top? Like W-ra did against MC. Maybe he underestimated San.

So Dimaga baneling busts MVP and all-ins Nestea and he's your hero, while your opinion of San goes down when he 4gates in PvP?
You can't say that it's okay because Dimaga varies it up, because we've seen San vary it up plenty of times with his unique, very KA-reliant style he used against sC, or his long, epic macro games against Nestea, TheWind, and Sen.

Well, he was not complaining. No much bm. Just his opinion, that 4gt rushing doesn't require much decision making, or something like that. Listen to the interview. It's cool.

San 4gated all 3 games and was able to win 2 of them, lol.
You think after a year of release, people ahve not tried to find something that beats 4gate consistently?

Really great matches today, but Nada vs July on the large map really bothered me...what could Nada have done there? The only way to punish a Zerg for mass expanding and macroing up on a large map is to use a combination of Drops/Helions/Banshees, and all of that gets shut down as soon as Mutas are out.
You can't really slow tank push across such a large map either, as by the time you even get to a base July already has 2 more bases somewhere else AND he could easily go around and counterattack.
I don't see how people say Nada got outplayed...yes, he's not on July's or MvP's TvZ level, but he didn't really make any mistakes. People say he turtled too hard, but like I said, what else could he have done? Mutas+speedlings shut down 99% of Terran harass options on such huge maps.

When will that show match take place?

I don't see what your question has to do with my post. I am not saying that people haven't tried to find something that beats 4gate. I am saying that, since it seems that the metagame heavily favors just brute-forcing your way to victory with a 4gate, with more creative builds falling to the 4gate, you might as well adapt and get as good as you can at 4gating yourself instead of trying to dabble with anti-4gate/creative builds and complain.

It's nice to see people complicit in their double standards.

Dimaga Baneling Busted MvP after a long and awesome macro game had been disconnected, and knowing he still had to face Nestea, all the while doing this after facing July. Also, his 10 pool was indeed an all-in but he was down 1 game versus the guy who has never lost a televised ZvZ. In order to get back in the game doing what he did is quite a bit understandable, and was a hard counter to Nestea's hatch first.

Enjoy yourself. ^^
