Add to that the fact that Sen, like a lot of people from Asian countries, is overly modest and saying his opponents only lost because they weren't playing 100% could be his way of showing humility and respect for them.
I certainly didn't see anything at all while watching live that suggested the Koreans weren't playing seriously, it was only afterwards when people started talking about it that it even crossed my mind. Also none of the other foreigners said that they were just messing around.
Newsflash: failed all-ins and wacky builds happen in every tournament, serious or not, watch the GSL or TSL if you don't believe me, there was nothing that happened here to suggest the Koreans weren't taking the game seriously.
Well, I'd normally come to that conclusion as well, but Sen was mentioned that "the foreigners agreed that the Koreans weren't taking things seriously" or something. I don't think Sen would try to say something like that for the rest of the World team if they didn't actually agree. Note that he said it in the same room as everyone else as well.

What a game though.
XD i failed to execute the build properly, the main purpose of that build is to have 3 stalkers out to intercept the 1zeal 1stalker 1probe that your opponent sends out, you deny their proxy pylon because you have the early game unit advantage, after your 3 stalkers you make 1 gate 2 zeals 1 gate then your pylon, the 5 units u get from your gateways negates their first warpin,(if it comes to that which it shouldnt, ur supposed to deny their proxy pylon) obviously your warpgate is gonna be much slower than theirs because you have to chrono 2 stalkers out and while your doing all this your constantly building probes(which is why i had a pretty significant probe count lead) i just made an amateurish mistake by not scouting for any proxy pylons after i killed his probe, i was really behind after he killed 2 of my stalkers while i was running back to my base but luckily he overextended himself and i managed to surround his units with my probes
Well thanks a lot for the explanation! I actually don't play SC2, but I keep learning by watching people like you play! Nice job!
:D

I feel weird about this one.Even though I'm glad TT1 is doing well, its hard for me to process that he could win against NaDa, to me, at the very least, the most talented progammer of all time. Now, I assume they will send MC out and i dont really see anyone winning against the guy. His PvP is unstoppable and 2 of the other players in the World camp are Protoss.
We will see what happen today, but it's a bit disappointing to me that team Korea isn't necessarily the best that Korea as to offer.

Also if you check the translated korean posts it seems the korean scene seems dissapointed in their play
|
Well not that we will ever know for sure but if it turns out to be true that the Koreans just didn't care all that much and didn't put in 100% effort, then as a spectator I'll just never watch any gsl again.
People like to complain about BM, such as the kind Idra does. Well that is all debatable but the worst kind of BM in any competitive setting and the only kind that should really turn off viewers is when the participants do not play to win.

NaDa and san are not known for semi all-innish timing pushes. But having said that I don't think the Korean team weren't trying. I think they weren't playing to a 100%, but still, they were playing to win.

got through all the VODs
think Tasteless held it down pretty well solo, although it was starting to get kind of boring. I think that was the most professional Tasteless has ever been for a GOM SC2 broadcast which isn't a bad thing, but it's quite a contrast from the personality that Tastosis often displays.

Really, i thought Tasteless seemed over 9000 percent uncomfortable. He seemed off his game.
I'm, not saying he did a bad job or anything. Though he just seemed more ...out of his element.

Bring back the old setup I say or at least only zoom in on his upper so both him and the viewers doesn't feel awkward.

Probably because they had to stand up xD (I don't get why, he mentioned a new set-up? tbh it doesn't look great like he says, it looks uncomfortable without the chairs. I'm guessing it's just for this World Championship because they needed more room or something.)
And yeah I agree, he did a really good job going solo. Him sitting on the stool felt like him giving us a fatherly talk ABOUT STARCRAFT! :D

Did anyone notice the studio looked different for gom? Mean not the desks, like the actual stuff in the back ground.
Idk maybe it was just the lights, but everything seemed colorful. Infact Imo too colorful. Also i didn't see that silver back drop thing with the lights on it. I liked that thing.
With out it how are we gonna know if its Code S or Code A. S was always Green, and A was always a nice dark red.

I think that for a free, probably not intended as a every inter-GSL event, Tasteless did pretty well. All I can complain is: Give him a longer sleeved blazer!
Also, did NaDa ignored Cella's high five attempt?

I thought nothing about Tasteless being a Templar, he did a great job. But a stool? That's gotta be uncomfortable after a while.. I need a back to a chair or.. my back hurts after a while.

Well check out these photos from GSL March Final (late I know). Warning: it might hurt your eyes because the quality is terrible. I mean terrible. Thanks to my phone's noobish camera.

Yeah kind of seemed that way. Would have been even better if they had two other casters in and Tasteless and Artosis both got to coach.

As a spectator I want the koreans to demolish everyone in their path. As educated SC2 spectators i think we all need to realise to take the games in this tournament with a grain of salt.. This.I can't agree with this anymore. There is no money on the line, and I don't see think the Koreans are taking this very seriously. HOWEVER, I do think it is now really raising some eyebrows to the top level players in the GSL, with the results in the TSL now this...
