Come on TL, time to live report in the live report threads, instead of endless whining. |

lol such a lame game. Bronze players can bunker rush. Just to be clear, if a bronze player tried to do that bunker crush against Leenock, he would be crushed. Crushed horribly. We've seen top level zergs defend these kinds of rushes for months now - but MKP outmicro'd so he came away with the win. so true. Also love leaving one marine to finish the hatchery... Leenock was thinking. Ok ill lose the hatch but ill get all those damm Marines.... Denied.

Someone needs to put up an image or GIF of John's cameo.
I wasn't paying attention so I missed it, unfortunately. Too busy typing up posts in various threads.

Not a winning move, since the terran has mules that more than offset the lower worker count. I'd love to be proven otherwise, so if you have replays I'd love to see them.

I like the result; I dislike the games. Huk was somewhat disappointing. I've watched his stream before, and I think it's due to nerves. His control can really be good - I remember an awesome PvP where he ended up with like 5 colossus in the red while destroying an equal amount of enemy colossus - but he wasn't really showing that these games.
Glad choya is out though.
And poor leenock. Didn't know who to root for in that group.

They probably decided not to do it for the Up & Down matches, can't blame them.

Huk is good and has good micro, I'm pretty sure he's nervous or something, if you have watched his stream you'd know what he's capable of .

I'm really glad MKP bunker rushed and won, because it shows how important the mental state is at high level competition.
Think about it. Poor Leenock just lost 3 games in a row, why would you want to show mercy at that point? As Artosis put it, Leenock might have not been in the proper mental state at that point. And MKP totally understood this, and delivered the killing blow swiftly and without mercy.
Being able to get into your opponent's head and screw him over that way is something Nestea and MKP have, and Leenock doesn't.

It gets better, there was still some in my nose so i did a bushmans blow (hold one nostril and blow it out the other) and some snotty popcorn chicken shot out and prceeded to stick to the window of the starbucks i was sitting outside of.

This was not just a bunker rush like you would see on ladder. Take into account that this was the second game in a Bo3 series, on in which MKP was ahead with 1-0. At the same time, take into account that Leenock was on a 0-3 streak at the moment, losing a game to Nestea that he probably felt for sure he had in the bag (Game 2). Also taking into account that both Nestea and MKP have been in the Finals of the GSL (hell, they even played against each other there in an epic Bo7).
With all of those things to account for, there is almost no doubt that Leenock was doubting himself by this point. Had he held the bunker rush, what then? MKP and Leenock would enter Game 3, and Leenock would have to be really careful about another potential allin, thus psychologically forcing Leenock to play a safer game and thus a "weaker" opening.
Bo3 as opposed to Bo1 are just as much about your mechanics, build orders, strategy, game sense (the things that are present in Bo1) as your mind set (mostly occurring in series play).

It's a good setup, but was confusing to navigate through at first. I think just a standard one here is easier to deal with for simplicty's sake. Thanks for the effort though! Wouldn't have made it through the morning if I didn't know whether or not HuK made Code S xD.

If you want feedback, I'd prefer to have some kind of result summary/overview. That would make it a lot easier if you missed the matches and just want to check on the results. Everything else well done.

Great post, wish I could explain things as well as you did.
Anyone who complains about the lameness of a bunker rush clearly doesn't understand what competition is about, and how important the mind set is to winning.

I prefer standard op, but good job still I think standard is more clear and easy to read. (and you have a green tag not closed properly in OP, in the fun fact "first PvP played on this map)
