It's alright to debate over the game, that's completely fine. It's alright to criticize casters/players/etc. It is not fine, however, to be an idiot and unnecessarily flame other users of this site, players, casters, etc etc etc for no reason. Any absurd and unnecessary flaming of anything/talking an absurd amount of shit/talking out of your ass/etc will be met with a 2day temp ban or longer. Please keep it civil.

Killer pushes to Nova's front, and kills many SCVs and Marines with a Stalker, a Zealot, and a Probe. Nova's expo is delayed for a bit as he frantically tries to get the bunker down.

Killer pulls back after Supernova gets the bunker finished.

That doesn't change the fact that he was getting combat shields and had conc shells queued though. And I don't know if he changed his mind, if it was a missclick inthe first place since I'm not that good at mind reading. But non of that changes the fact that he was getting Combat Shields when the tech lab died.


This is just my guess, but he got shields initially to get the extra HP for marines so it takes 2 DT swipes instead of 1 to kill them. Later though, he has his scans saved up so the stim dps would be more beneficial in his "all in" attempt than extra hp at the end.

It was more successful than that scv bunker push that failed twice Rain attempted.
There's no S in KT. :P

call me noob if you want, but missile turret is so useful at all stages in the game that I wonder why all Terran don't just build one early every game.

It is no more cheese than a Banshee opening in TvT, imo. Just like most openings it has hard counters, and it hard counters other openings. You can usually get the expansion Nexus about the same time that you would in a 3gate expand, the only real issue is dealing with an early 2-3rax bio push in TvP, or a PDD 1 base push.

If he was getting shield to defend against DT, he would have kept scan or make turret. Your argument got a big flaw in it. + Combat shield was started ages ago... Dt shrine was started almost at the same time...

SuperNova goes for Banshees, but the Starport gets scouted by an obs.

Killer moves his Stalkers into position, and adds a Twilight Council in addition to the Robo support bay.

The banshee backs out, and Killer researches Blink and builds a Warp Prism.

Killer pushes. Supernova kills a probe before it can put down a 3rd.

Killer applies pressure to Nova's nat, but backs out after the tanks fire.

Sure, but thing is, TSL_Rain really should've expected some kind of cheese in Game 2. That's like standard Korean meta-game in tournaments.

Supernova pushes along the 6 o clock corridor, sieges below the cliff and starts shelling the mineral line.

Thermal lance finishes for Killer. The rocks fall, and SuperNova puts up a missile turret as he pushes up the ramp.

Fruitdealer proved that balance didn't stop good players from making good decisions. Balance whining only makes it acceptable to your mind for you to lose, which is ultimately unacceptable.
