First look at this new caster and I thought that Artosis had a haircut.

very cool to see losira take care of huk. never been too big of a fan and i can't help but find it (REALLY) irritating anyone gets to a tournament for the first time and says something along the lines of "i'm the clear favorite." He did play alright overall though. I like the new commentator a lot. Kinda comes off as a less charismatic Artosis. Hopefully GOM brings in someone good to replace kelly, and if they dont they offer Code A and Code S season tickets separately...

Where did he say he was the clear favorite? Not saying you're wrong, just curious since I never saw this.

Sorry, how is this true? HuK beat two mediocre zergs, he didn't dominate them or anything. He went up against a good player, and got rolled pretty hard.

I hope he said he is the clear favorite. Players need to have confidence in themselves to do at least decent in a tournament.

There's confidence, then there's cocky asshole. But if you can back up that cockiness with results (like MC), then people won't have as many problems with it.

Huk said it in assembly i think :D

No way huk is even close to being the best player in Code A. Not a hater, but really, fanboyism is straying too far with huk right now. Revival threw his game away and losira just rolled him. I don't think he'll make it out of Code A either, particularly seeing the incredibly stacked Code S player pool.
Best of luck to him though, but I insist, he's not by any means the best player in Code A. Losira, Leenock, Ganzi, amongst others have shown much better play.

I dunno, I think we haven't seen Huk's best. He's capable of beating top, top, top players, and has done so with witnesses(his stream). Of course practice isn't tournaments; beating MVP in practice doesn't mean you're going to win GSL by any means. But I think that it warrants care with your words and predictions.

Even after he got eliminated he said in an interview that he still is the best player, blamed everything on PvP and didn't give Socke any little credit at all. There is a difference between confidence and arrogance - Confidence is fine, inadequate arrogance and lack of respect towards other players is what makes me dislike a player.

I tend to agree. Huk is definitely a very strong player, and looked to be doing well in the first game against Losira, but he really hasn't shown anything that makes me think he should be Code S, nor best in Code A. I think Code A is right for his skill level. Definitely think we'll be seeing more of him in the future.

Well, this outcome shows you ladder games aren't close to tournament games A BIT... To be honest i'm a HuK fan, BIG fan... i am/was moderator in his livestream castings -when he plays in korea like at 16:00, it's 2:00 AM here so yeah, i was totally insane about watching him play- and i saw him beat IMMvP like 4 days before MvP vs MK, so MvP was in "top" form those days, and i've seen him beating Nestea quite some times (refer to this week's Liquid Weekly for more info)... But that isn't enough to be on top of GSLs... You need real concentration-focus, desire, perseverance, stiffness, attitude and much more champ virtues. Im not saying HuK lacks all of this, but maybe he's too nervous, or dissolute while playing. It's amazing how the way of playing is so different in korean pros on ladder with themselves in tournament, it's like a whole different thing... Maybe HuK needs to prepare better mentally (more than mechanically) before tournament games, and stick with the responsibility that is carried by it... Maybe HuK learned a lot from this outcome... I really hope he does, and hopefully he takes TSL3 with him, he has the potential to do it, I'VE SEEN IT, but right now, he's not MENTALLY at that level yet. So for us HuK fans, we just hope he gets to it, and for not fans/haters, well yeah, HuK lost this one,and many of us were filling our mouths with his victory, but maybe, one day, you will see a HuK with Idra's or even MC's resolve and when that time comes a GSL S caliber player will be born (same goes for MKP but in a higher level - to be a champ) and you'll all (maybe not all XD) be proud/even more proud of him. Until that time (which i hope comes soon), keep on growing HuK... Liquid'Huk HWAIITING!!!

He has Top 3 Worldwide Mechanics after all... Losira has Top 2 mechanics. On a serious note he got outclassed by Losira. Sorry but i dont get the reference about the mechanics, can someone tell what this joke is about? At some point, Huk said he was in the top 3 in the world in mechanics.
