It's alright to debate over the game, that's completely fine. It's alright to criticize casters/players/etc. It is not fine, however, to be an idiot and unnecessarily flame other users of this site, players, casters, etc etc etc for no reason. Any absurd and unnecessary flaming of anything/talking an absurd amount of shit/talking out of your ass/etc will be met with a 2day temp ban or longer. Please keep it civil.

Really sad to see HuK get knocked out but he at least has Code A clinched for next season (right?) at least. The games were really good still, can't wait to see if we get an interview from him to hear his opinions on what happened.

Hope HuK doesn't get stuck playing vs Nestea or MVP though, it would be disappointing for one of them to not make code S. Other than Nestea and MVP, pretty sure HuK can win vs anyone in the up/down matches.

There are a couple of Code S players who definitely should move down (Hyperdub anyone?). Hopefully Huk gets paired vs them and gets a solid chance to move up.

I wonder how they're going to treat Idra's open slot. Will one of the Code A guys get paired with the empty slot and get a bye into Code S?

Yeah, top three zergs would be Nestea, FD (despite minor slump) and July. No room for Losira in there, sorry. Maybe shares the next few spots with Kyrix, Leenock and TheWind at best, but even that I'm skeptical of.

I'd say Losira is more solid than FD and July.

I agree. Top 3 Zergs in my book are Nestea, Losira, and DRG. It's all personal opinion though

There is no empty slot as the winner of the recent IEM world championship, ST_Ace, has been rewarded Idra's spot.

HuK said in his interview with John that he and Losira are 50/50 in matchups on the ladder. Jinro who lives with him, and a few others who watch HuK's stream, seem to imply that HuK beats Losira all the time. I think Day9 said something about Losira losing to HuK all the time from cannon rushes. So does HuK's comment only apply to "standard" games?

The big issue with the cannon rush was the map, most maps just have 1 nat so at worse you at least stop the expan and force the Z to break out, that map however has in a sense 2 nats, so all it does it force a cancel while he takes the other open nat.

Ugh, I've tried to make a mental block about IEM. All of my hopes and dreams about foreigners being as good as the Koreans were shattered.

With fifty-fifty odds Losira can easily beat HuK two times in a row without meaning "ladder means crap" :o It's completely in margin of error.

Round of 8 doesn't mean much. They still get even chances getting into Code S. Am I right?

Ladder still means crap though! And well, Losira didn't just beat Huk, Huk made huge mistakes that eventually lost him the games.

With the up/down current lineup, it's best to get top 2 in code a as you can pick the 3rd and 4th place players you want to face and that's a HUGE advantage this season.

So maybe HuK feels a little weird now having made a ceremony after a Ro32 win in Code A, no matter what it was supposed to mean
