Yeah, unfortunately you're the "unskilled person making poor decisions and reaching erroneous conclusions" when evaluating Idra's performance as a progamer.

To bad that they fucked up on 1155, so you cant buy any new Intel eq. now if you dont want to buy yesterdays tech.

The advantage of the CRT is long gone to be honest.

That whows how much they care about SC2 then, when no pro gamers play on 4:3 in Sc2.

Do you think the event would be possible without the sponsors? Either they get their 10 minutes/day promoting their product on the stream and you get an awesome tournament to watch or you get nothing to watch at all. You choose. Sponsors - and especially electronic sponsors like Intel - should do it much better / interesting than having two guys talk about it ... which is rather boring. Make a video or have some pictures to illustrate things and most certainly dont have one fake lack of knowledge. "Oh that is a wafer" ... that is something every kid nowadays should have recognized.
Having people of such differing height always makes interviews awkward and thus .... get these guys a table and two seats.
Just my two cents on how to improve this kind of performance.

Except IdrA is the actual progamer here, and you posting this "cognitive bias in which unskilled people make poor decisions and reach erroneous conclusions" is the exact definition of this. Just stop insulting progamers. IdrA isn't even allowed to defend his opinions.
I actually edited my post, before you finished posting yours.
But to elaborate, believe it or not I was a big IdrA fan until a few weeks ago. I rooted for him in the Jinro vs IdrA match and was massively disappointed when he lost. RIGHT up until the point where he said in the post-game interview "zerg is broken so I didn't bother practicing very much".
And I'm still a fan of him, despite that. I just think he displays the following characteristics from the wiki link.
"tend to overestimate their own level of skill; fail to recognize genuine skill in others; fail to recognize the extremity of their inadequacy; recognize and acknowledge their own previous lack of skill, if they can be trained to substantially improve."

This is wrong, as any competitive player of any fighting game, or any FPS will readily tell you.

Darrgghh. Bought the HD pass. SC2 HD doesnt work. Running on firefox Pretty dissapointed so far. Any help?
On topic. I really hope Morrow can pull up some miracle here and go through.

For a LAN event it makes a lot more sense to just stick with cheap crts for fps games.

Awww, Idra vs WhiteRa is going to be awesome! Watching it at work............................ I love my job :-)

Man, I thought my SC2 was running for a good 2 minutes, until I realized the music came from the stream...

Enlighten me what the advantage is then.

I'd say idra's about 4:1 favorite as white ra isn't anywhere near to his beastly performance before he decided to take a break from sc2. Still rooting for hin though!
Someone please LR!
