I feel terrible for ret, he's one of the best players we have. Hopefully the infestor change in the next patch will make this matchup a little easier for Z. Other than that, the multi marine drops are way to hard for the zerg to deal with even if you have a huge army and econ.

Were his flaws less obvious and more subtle than losing a hatchery or 30 mutas? Yes, but that doesn't mean they weren't there. Is Zerg playing uphill nowadays? Probably, but that doesn't mean that Zerg players like Ret can't win. Thank you, that was a great response.

Completely outclass your opponent, then lose to 1+a. Ret played FLAWLESSLY that game without even losing an expansion. His upgrades were 2-1 at the final push. Yet he loses. Objective analysis of that game much welcomed. To say that Ret played quote 'FLAWLESSLY' is pushing it. His macro was beastly but his unit control in the engagements left much to be desired. Mutas were lost engaging stimmed marines and for the second game in a row his broods were sniped due to poor placement. Banelings were wasted and the infestors died pretty quickly as well. Terran didn't play perfectly either imo. Thors would have been a nice addition in the main and if Ret stayed a little bit longer he could have taken out that chunk of supply depots. The drop play wasn't as awesome as game 1 but it made Ret split up his army. 1+a doesn't describe what Terran did in this game. You have to press a different button to siege, and another one to stim. Unless of course you think running banelings straight into an army is more difficult than kiting said banelings. I wish we could just watch the games. Also I'm pretty sure you've done this silly whining before and it's not really helpful in a LR thread. <3

Pretty much were my thoughts the whole game.. Obviously it's easy to see when you're the observer but I think Ret needs a little more experience. If a guy as talented as him practiced more he'd be scary as hell.

Seriously, that map is so big, Ret was so far ahead, just spend all your time on delaying that push until the broodlords are out and you will crush him easily. I'm 100% sure Ret knows why he lost that. He spent heaps of time delaying the push... He lost his infestors delaying the push, he counterattacked delaying the push, he harasses with mutas delaying the push. Jjob pretty much siege pushed all the way, the distance between close positions isnt that large.

Sc2 is so awesome. Im diggin the "1 post" person here Idk if you noticed but if you understand the game this terran macroed pretty well, it wasn't anything "he lucked out" moment he stayed on par for a tvz macro.

How about Ret losing the first game because he suicided like 15 baneings into the planetary fortress instead of chasing the marines. You guys piss me off.

Sc2 is so awesome. Did you even watch that game? How can you say the terran was just decent? Or even lesser!? His multi tasking was amazing. He literally made zero micro mistakes and his macro was superb as well.
