I think people need to build sporecrawlers if you don't go the mutalisk route.

You can't be at 3 different places at once if a terran decides to drop you in the main, the natural and the third, while pushing you. Drops put you out of position, force you to reproduce drones, let a terran come back into the game and gives them the ability to snipe tech structures. 125 minerals per base is hardly a waste given that you will have a mineral surplus in the midgame. Whats more, any terran worth their weight will be dropping you constantly in the midgame if he went for a bio route. There is no reason you wouldn't prepare for something that is bound to happen sooner or later.

Im just saying that it's not worth it, if you gonna use spore to stop drops you would need a lot of them spore aint turrets that have a better dps and range. It's better to have spines around your mineral line. Tell me who uses spores to stop drops? Anyways in this game, he had infestors with energy upgrade but never use it to stop drops

Its not that, its the fact that spores are entirely worthless for preventing drops due to their tiny range and the fact that you can't build them easily around the map without creep.
