No balance whining. 2-day temp bans will be handed out like candy.

I'm pretty sure MVP was a lot more cost effective in that first huge battle. The lings and banelings clumped up way too much on the ramp, and a few tank shots killed all of them. So even though MVP lost that actual battle, I think MVP still came out ahead in terms of cost effectiveness, since more than 90% of Nestea's lings/banelings did nothing. Once the speedlings/blings died, all Nestea really had was mutas, which were cleaned up by better upgraded marines.

When isn't terran more cost-effective?

What I meant, was he was way more cost-effective than he should have been. Given a wide open area and those two exact same armies, Nestea would have absolutely rolled MVP with far less losses.

that tank on the ramp was fucking crucial

i was surprised that MVP was able to conjure up that much shit on 2 base. i think he was just pressuring with that 1 tank with the marine drops in the high ground while macroing up a mega army back home. although the reinforcements nestea picked off seemed like a good amount...

MVP just too crazy good + tank on ramp.

And that, my friends, is why MVP is the no1 player in the world.

This is the problem with Tastosis hyping NesTea up too much after game 1. People think he's perfect when he actually made a lot of mistakes in that game. Just take off the tinted glasses people and really think hard about the game.

Considering they just had to move everyone forward so they could add more seats.... No, wtf are you basing that on?

Awesome ty for posting that.

Yeah thanks

I guess it's just the camera angles that I think there are so little people there. Fan fucking tastic news that it is packed. How many people are there, if anyone knows?

The big mistake wasn't just the tech structure placement. It was the fact that Nestea didn't have 2 carapace to counteract 2-2 marines. Another mistake was the lack of hatcheries. Nestea's money was through the roof. MVP's pressure probably caused Nestea to forget to add hatcheries so that he'd have enough larvae to spend everything.

This was the other problem, if you got 3 bases you should really be hitting 3 simultaneous upgrades (1 for air, 2 for ground out of double evo).

People balance whining from bronze league need to sit down. MVP played really damn smart, NesTea didn't get "abused" by a broken race, he got beat by a really strong 2base attack that was planned perfectly based on positions.

yeah obv all the whining here are from bronze league. Can't people like you learn that posting smartass comments like that will just incite more "whining"

In North Korea? WTF does that mean? How do you have access to the internet?

This entire game made me facepalm, both players played like shit.

MVP let his 16 marine squad die to 3 banelings, Nestea rebuilds his tech at his natural (wtf?). Nestea crushes MVP's marines and leaves the tank at the ramp only to run into the base of MVP and lose all his mutas...

I honestly feel like I was watching a gold level game.

I think that MVP actually made more mistakes and lost more units for no reward yet he still won the game. Marines seem to be "throw away" units yet they do sick sick damage, especially deadly with those upgrades.

I don't think moving the tech tree or lair would have made any difference there. In fact I don't even see how a Zerg can stop that if the Terran plays methodically enough :S

If you bothered to look it was 2-1 ground and 2-0 air for nestea vs 2-2 marines and 0-0 tanks

Exactly bro, superior upgrades. Or you cant count?

Nestea thought that MVP's entire force was at the rocks so he wasn't as careful as he should have been, while MVP held a few back because he knew Nestea was going to try to counter.

They might as well be, compared to the level of play here.
How about you guys take your whining somewhere else? See the big banner and the red text?

You have to remember, those extra bases are 600minerals that probably didn't pay for themselves. Rather than being a benefit they were most likely a hindrance to stopping that attack. Except for maybe the extra larva.

Just because u guys spotted no mistakes doesnt mean he played a perfect game... how can u guys have such a strong opinion about that anyway without watching the replay. o.O

-Baneling movement wasn't to good.
-Lost to much mutas and didn't kill enough from the reinforcements.
-Counterattack was bad, because he had still terran units in his base and no banelings left.

That were the major flaws i saw in that game from nestea .. but i guess there were a lot more.
