Idra could have won if he microed a bit better :/ He wasnt being cocky, he was trying to block the marine from coming out and to kill the barracks.

So where is the problem? Don't hate the player, it's the game with its rules and "features". What I dont understand is in game 2 is: If you know you will lose unless the opponent makes a major mistake, why not try it out, if the opponent makes such a mistake. Mistakes do not happen so often at that level, but you can never know. Did you ever watch sport and saw how the great leading pro team made a major mistake during the last few minutes and lost the game unexpectedly ? There is a chance for such a mistake. Why not give it a shot? Have you seen a basketball game where a player made a steal and rushed to score without any defense which could stop him? Then he can't score and looses the ball. Ever saw that? Image no one ran behind him, he could rebound and try to score again, and again, and again. And now imagine if someone is behind. An esport athlete at this level should nonetheless have the stamina for long lasting hard macro/micro game.

They really have to do something about that. Why not just remake the old BW maps?

Hopefully Nada can show us a game that lasts more than three minutes and twelve seconds.

Now, whether Jungle Basin is a balanced map is a different discussion, and citing this game as evidence of that imbalance is just ignorant.

if you understand basic math, cross positions have a 1/3 chance which means close positions spawn 67% of the time
