The tQ Open is an all diamond level tournament hosted by the starcraft team tQ, or think Quick. The eleventh tQ Open was just finished and it went very well! There is a $20 prize for the winner

Im not trying to be a dick here, because I really like you guys. but did you guys get blizzards permission to hold a buy in tournament? you can get in a hell of a lot of legal trouble if you didn't..

I did not get that, so to save possible trouble this tournament will run normally, just like in the past. No buy in necessary, and $20 prize for the winner.
Bonkarooni Protoss 2700 (Better safe then sorry Zander. I could be wrong on it, I was just reading another forum post on the topic earlier. I can't find the actual information on how to go about getting to host a buy in tournament.

watching the rush network stream w/ dde and ranged playing a tvp.
It is amazing how much a different map is making a difference on the entertainment value. I've watched for 10 minutes and not sure the name of the map they just played on but it provided for a lot more action and entertainment.
Granted this is just one game but the open space of the map made and the size made a huge difference. I've always felt that the blizzard maps have way to many chokes and small areas that limit engagements and the ability to really setup and micro etc.
