Thanks for organizing a tournament though, it's always nice to see more e-sports stuff around.

Cya there Yes, we will be hosting this on the regular and regarding booz, well due to several reasons, we are obliged to say that no alcohol will be allowed on the premises. Also, we will be opening up this second tQ LIVE to online players who wish to join our prize tournament and play from the comfort of their homes. The entry fee will be $20 and the payment can be made through paypal or by check. We will provide a valid paypal account shortly. So once again, this event may include players from all around North America who wish to compete in this tournament alongside players who will be attending the actual LAN.

We wanted to somehow increase the number of participants in the tournament by adding this option but if most people generally dislike the format of it then we can make it LAN only and save the online tournament for another time. I just think that it is very difficult to get 32+ players to show up to a LAN because circumstances arise and people may have things to do on that particular day but again, the format is quite flexible and we are prioritizing the LAN over the online option because afterall eSPOT is our home and we want everyone to experience a gaming environment that is different from just playing at home alone. I am coming from Victoria. I love the idea of LANs and am definitely willing to get the day off work (already done) and take the boat over to Richmond for some SC2! I want to see more of these for the growth of esports in Canada!
