why go anything but roach at all? do you die to very early banelings or something? Well. On non fastexpandable maps speeling bane into muta can be a viable strategy for mapcontrol. However thats pretty much it, we're back to the hour long super boring zvzs we've had during the beta.

nah they interviewed TLO twice and Torch. Artosis kinda got an interview because he had to come back to commentate. Only Idra got the exemption i think.

It really does, hidden expansions, proxy stargates, surprise banelings. For those that dont know people also said it about him in BW rofl. But Im sad to see him go and he is very good, I guess nobody was really prepared for how many zergs would make it through and how many ZvZs there would be.

Idra beat terran scrubs to get here Zenio beat MVP

Zenio won with typical crazy Koreans practicing any match up like mad.
ZvZ is a roll of dice? Are you saying IdrA got swept because of bad luck? Get real.
ZvZ is not a roll of dice, Idra got destroyed both games because first game he misplayed, second game he went a horrible strategy that has not seen use in some time cause its so easily destroyed.
Artosis strategy was very solid, I am actually going to use it for my DQ games from now on because its so hard to secure that front expansion if you play against a retarded zerg that likes to go Ling Muta.

TLO was interviewed too everytime he lost...

I'm sure Artosis will interview IdrA later.

Im sure any non koaren player in the GSL is better than the koreans by the sounds of this thread..

No offense to the EG guys currently in NA, but they just wont cut it. Machine is nowhere near the level of people like zenio and FD. I am pretty sure he has even admitted it.

Anyways, the better player won, so i'm happy :D These games were not luck at all though. Simply outplayed.
I agree he was outplayed, i'm just saying that you sort of have to guess what you're opponent is doing, and if you guess wrong, you die. In all the other matchups, you can still win even though you're being countered.
ZvZ is 3 units, like rock paper scissor, as so many people have already pointed out.
rock = roach scissor = baneling paper = zergling
In the first few mins of the game you have to make a few guesses, as i said. Obviously there is luck in all the matchups, but this one has wayyy more luck involved than the others

He doesnt act, he really is nervous, he doesnt get paid to do the translations, he probably isnt used to being on camera "in front" of thousands of people.

Nope, interviewed TLO after his loss in season 1.
They usually interview foreigners win or lose.

but i think idra can handle it.
oh yeah, and idra, when you talk about getting to the finals and you know, don't make it, you look like kind of an ass. :\
He said he was capable of getting to the finals. Look like an ass? Plenty of professional athletes say that their teams are capable of getting to championships. Half the NFL says it every week.

Why not just build 1 spore at each mineral line in game 1?

Besides Idra they don't have a single player capable of going anywhere. They can't even get anywhere in the NA tournaments.

idrA was gracked
His zvz really seemed miles below his other match-ups.
|
First game wasn't a BO loss, IdrA made a lot of mistakes
|
Last interview Idra said that his half of the bracket was doable and that he expects to meet Fruitdealer in the final. Now both are out.
Anyone know who will be HopeTorture's next opponent?
