Quick question..
I'm not saying either player did this or will ever think of doing it, but whats to stop people in a show match series with money on the line from playing somewhere where they have a friend on a laptop or something telling them exactly whats happening via the live stream?
I know not everyone is a scumbag and cheats but hey sometimes money makes people do crazy things no?

Obv. you dont get range when you only plan to get 1-2 collosus. Why would you ever plan on getting just 1-2 collosus if you know you will be going chargelots+ht, that makes no sense to me. The colossi are so you don't die and you force vikings. If you're going to try and force vikings why not upgrade hallucinate instead and possibly force a scan / vikings plus get free meat sheilds for sentry energy. You'll save gas and minerals for a stronger army. Ha ha ha. Read the first part of the sentence: "so you don't die." Have you ever played TvP early/mid game? Bio pushes will absolutely crush a gateway army.
Absolutely I have played mid-game PvT. You can have fake collosus with hallucinate upgraded that will probably soak up more damage from the marauders plus at the same time your bigger gateway army will do more damage than you would think to his bio army. It also can scare him off if he sees you with 3 collosus. Another benefit would be doing a different tech route while he think you have mass robo units. Im pretty sure HuKs collosi didn't really do much damage in those last 2 games. Thanks for telling me to read the first part of the sentence.

Thanks for a great match. Morrow has been on fire since IEM winning everything....

The floating factory also prevents you from clicking on units beneath it, which can also mess up an attack. It wasn't about bait, there's no way HuK is that naive. great analysis, im impressed remember, a floating factory is never just a floating factory in starcraft :p hilariously bad of me to lose it tho xd
Soooo... when are you playing Zenio for the global gamers tournament?

I know not everyone is a scumbag and cheats but hey sometimes money makes people do crazy things no? That's always going to be a possibility with online tournaments, but if someone was doing then it would most likely be pretty obvious really. I mean, let's say someone is going to drop and while he is moving the other player shifts his defence a bit, then all of a sudden without any scouting the dropping player just stops and returns. Sure, it could have been pure game sense, but honestly I think if someone did cheat it would be pretty easy to see.

Watch the replay. This doesn't work. If he actually moved into the base the fact was way too far away to actually make it to the battle in time. The fact was above the ramp. The battle would of taken place near the starport/rax in the middle of the base so morrow could try and use a choke. Even if it did make it over the fight would of been decided by then. It wouldn't of even been close.
This is a non-issue. It was a mistake. Simple as that.

I would say it's probably just honor of the game. For the pros, the vast majority of them want to just play straight up games, and they know if they were caught cheating that they would be boned.

I don't agree with the complaints on the camera work. I prefered it to pretty much any other cast i've seen. Almost no action was missed. MorroW was at times dropping and attacking at 3 places at once and everything was picked up by the casters. Everything producing and all small details was caught aswell. This is not the case with any other casters who focus too much on one place and constantly miss important keypoints in the game.
I understand why some people prefer the slower methodical way of handling the camera, but I personally much prefer what Incontrol and LZ did.

thats the point. most of the big cash can only be won on LANs. if i would be a progamer, i wouldnt risk to cheat for 100 or 200 bucks in an online tournament/showmatch, if that would disqualify myself from all future tournaments and probably even end my career if i would get caught

HuK could have won that showmatch if he had just spent 200/200 on that damned upgrade..

Tbh White-Ra really hasn't won any major tournaments in a while, and in a while I mean like beta lol. I would say that Huk is the best toss outside Korea, but I would prolly give the European server an edge in overall skill.

Great series, really enjoyed it.

The difference between huk and morrow skillwise is night and day, because this is sc2 a player like huk can still sneak games off a player like morrow, but overall morrow is much more fundamentally/mechanically sound.
HuK is a player who learns through conditioning, morrow is a player who just has that fuller deeper understanding of the game and can make the most outta what he is presented with.
I understand practice is important, but I always respected the players with a good game sense over players that just practice a ton and can copy build orders. That's why I love jaedong and flash, cause they have the skill + they have such a good feel for the game.

Didn't watch the game, but wow, buildings have the same priority of attacking units? that's a bit silly.
