Game 1: Nothing to say really, I shouldn't of built so many probes. Game 2: He blind countered my build I was super behind after void ray failure, managed to get to mid game but fell behind after he could just 200/200 and throw units at me and not really care. Game 3: I was generally ahead early game but fell apart to slow push terran thats really tough to break, could of maybe massed void rays but would of left me open to a lot of timing attacks and even then could be coming out even unless he never scouted it. (bad map choice by me) Game 4: Scrap Station morrow doesn't really know how to play it so fell so was good pick this time, waited for range and attacked had some good ff's that put me way ahead, then macro'd because didn't want to risk losing the game. Eventually shoved and won Game 5: Scouted map for cheese figuring he has such advantage now he would be willing to try something just to end it. He attacks I fend it off BUT (heres the big BUT), I had to cancel my observer to make immortal to fend off the attack. From then on I was playing pretty blind and wasn't sure if he was going 5 rax or 2-3 rax medivac tech. IF he was going 5 rax and i blindly went up his ramp tralalalalal i would of got curb stomped and lost the game IF he was going medivac i could show and probably win but at this point i had no vision and really didn't know much what he was up to. I did not forget Collosus range many people watch my replays and say "omg he forgot it." Like orb said in his post the timing of it actually being effective and how much it would change the game were very slim especially since he was already pumping viking. Anyways its be fun reading all these great comments! I will be sure to carefully read through everything and try as hard as possible to bring all these great strategims into my play so I won't be such a baddie next time. GG morrow played better and won simple as that ![]()

Lets just hope for HuKs sake that Idra and Morrow stays away from "his" tournies ![]() He just needs to learn to macro harder. A lot of the game changing momentum that MorroW gained was due to simply outproducing his rax unit spam vs. HuK struggling to keep a gateway army of the same size and at the same time getting "counter" units. HuK's attention was spread and at the same time MorroW could just handle any situation by simply building more units. Oh and cute dropship play. Commendable micro.

He does amazing on ladder, but he loves to play a macro game and Terran can just crush a macroing Protoss with their 1 base plays that are easy to transition into n base plays (n is being used as an algebraic reference). I don't want to make this a "whine" post but it's hard for the Protoss to keep up because Protoss units are, in mass numbers, generally weaker and until you get High Templar and can constantly pump them are far more expensive. More so when you consider the amount of gas needed to tech to templar, and then constantly pump them out, against a Terran who plays MMM.

Also, in King of the Beta HuK showed he can beat top Korean (Tester), not that it's a surprise.huk is definitely one of the best protoss but lets see if he can win a global challenge or against koreans

Is it because hes such a pillar of the eastern european gaming community, organizing tournaments and such?

I think it's more that he has a family and job outside of SC2, and something like his wife not really liking him spending all that time on the game. That's what I've heard from the grapevine at least.

Thanks for the justification but it wasn't really needed, you are better than most the people criticizing you on here ![]()
