Nelson: May I recommend next time you host a Starcraft 2 tournament and attempt to put an entrance fee on it that you read the Blizzard TOS in regards to obtaining a Tournament license. Don't piss them off!!
Aside from that, should be an exciting tournament with a lot of big names from NA.

We are currently working out an agreement with Blizzard. The reason we did not push the tourney back is due to another scheduled event with Alienware Arena. 110 teams registered. First 128 to get signed up and have their unique id will get to participate. Thanks to all those whom came to our town hall meeting and for the feed back. We hope this event will be the start of several great events. Feel free to contact us if you have any question. Http://support.cevo.com or ventrillo: 174.120.115.215 port 4000.

my guy isnt responding/wasn't there =[

ATTENTION: We have 120+ people signed up now, but most of you don't have your Starcraft ID entered into our system. I just went through all of the teams and made the ones with players who have everything entered correctly 'ready' in our system. If you look at: http://www.cevo.com/index.php?page=div&id=343&func=standings&view=bygroup there is two groups. Group A is everyone that is READY and you don't need to do anything else. If your team is in Group Not Ready you haven't entered your ID, or you have a bad ID entered (from beta for instance). Also teams with multiple players aren't ready because you need to be on your OWN TEAM.
If you are in the Not Ready group please make sure you enter your ID ASAP as the frist 128 people to do so will get a spot in the tournament. If you are having trouble please come into our ventrilo, I'll be in there most of today, most admins will be able to help you enter your ID also. ventrillo: 174.120.115.215 port 4000.
Thanks.

Changed my account details to have my ID in properly, haven't shown up as ready yet. Is all ok with my account? I'm Sealteam and the team is Seal.736 with the same char name and ID in my specific game details.
|
My account is updated with identifier. Please move me to ready group.
|
Very happy to see CEVO picking up SC2. Best of luck to everyone!
|
Sealteam and dreamfield ,
both of you have been set to ready. Good luck in the event!
|
I think I should be set to ready now that I updated my "Unique Game ID" with my SC2 ID, though I still show up in the not ready category.
Username on CEVO is UNC_Qiufeng, registered for the event under the team name "UNC CSL". Maybe I missed something? D:
edit: nice event btw

EtherealDeath,
Once the SC2 ID is entered properly I have to manually set you to ready. I usually go through in the evening and set everyone that has corrected their ID to ready, unless someone lets me know as you just have.
You have now been set to ready, thank you for participating and enjoy the event!

CEVO is doing what they've always done with games like counter-strike, cs:source, and tf2 with this pay to play system. I can't remember how much my IM season in CEVO was but it's not too much and it provides a great online tracking system, and general organization. I know in a CEVO season, almost everyone would play (counter strike: source) and I would love to see the same effect in SC2.

I just did another full run through of everyone who is correctly signed up for the tournament. If your team is still in the Not Ready group you should get moving as its getting close to full with ready teams.

Hi, I just saw this tournament went free so I singed up.
I put in my ID, am I able to participate even though I am not in group B?
Edit:
username: Siffer team name: Siffer

Yes you should be able to still participate as long as the limit hasnt been reached yet.

There is only room for 41 more players in this event. There are 78 players that are still "not ready". If you want to play in this event, you need to fix your SC2 ID. The first 41 players to fix it will be able to play in the event. If you do not take action to correct your ID and wait until the last minute, you WILL NOT be able to play in this tournament. We WILL NOT be adding players past 128.
Registration closes this Friday night at midnight CST. Please check your match comm over the weekend to schedule your matches. You will be required to play one each day (mon, tues, wed, thurs)
EVERYONE: YOU MUST USE CMN3 FOR EVERY MATCH OR YOU WILL FORFEIT. you can download CMN3 here: http://www.cevo.com/?page=downloads
If there is something that you don't understand about this tournament, or if you have questions about anything, there are CEVO officials available to help you EVERY evening in our ventrilo server. I don't want any of you to take a forfeit loss because of something you did not know. We will take the time to assist you in anyway possible. I will be in the ventrilo server tonight starting at 9:30 CST tonight. I challenge any of you that don't completely understand something about this event to come talk to me tonight.
VENTRILO SERVER: texas.cevo.nationvoice.com VENTRILO PORT: 4000
I look forward to seeing some of you tonight!

You are ready to go.

So it says my team is not yet ready (just me). Is that how it is supposed to be or is it filled up already?
Everything that has been noted I have to do is done.
EDIT: Nevermind, I guess it takes time, I'm now in Group A. Good luck fellow players!

I also signed up, put in my unique game ID and it still has my status as "not ready" D:
