How does that sound? Taeja and Polt > Flash Hard to make a real case for them since they don't play vs the real powerhouse players. Sure they wreck foreign tournaments that do have good players like MMA, MC, JD, Hyun, but I would say they don't quite compare to the PL players Although Taeja wrecked pretty hard when he was in PL that one season, mostly talking about Polt
Dude plz shutup you don't know what you are talking about. Just because someone plays in PL doesn't make them automatically better than every other player who doesn't play in PL.
It's funny how you say guys who participate in foreign tournaments don't compare to the PL players. Let me give you a few reminders, MC just beat TY in Dreamhack Bucharast a few months ago.
And Hyun who you also think is just "ok" beat RorO in Bucharast as well. Have you ever heard of TY and RorO? I think they play in PL, and RorO is occasionally in Code S. You do watch PL right? Facepalm!
Other notables, Bomber and Snute both beat Stork at Homestory Cup IX. Stork plays in PL and also made it to GSL Code S Rnd 32 in the recent season. Ever heard of Stork?
What a goof.

There is a huge Problem with your "argument". I think you have not understood some of the principals in competive sports and esports in general. The fact, that you back your argument with such great examples like "Snute beat Stork this one time on a foreign tournament Stork didn´t raly prepare for". This is not the way "compete" should be interpreted. In a game as Starcraft 2 sadly there is nothing like" the better player wins everytime". Even the Best players have winrations of about 60-70% if at all, so a single loss should not be concidered at all(just by the casters to create a hype).
There is a smaller pool of Koreans, that play in foreign tournaments as there are in korea of course. SO if they play a tournament they most likely won´t hit each other until like ro8, giving them a winratio of about 70-80%, BECAUSE they played "weaker" foreigners unitl this point. Then one of the koreans will win the tournament (mc, taeja, potl, hyun), but that not consistently...even if Taeja had a good run in the last moths, they pretty much rotate the trophys amongst another. So if you don´t count in the easier oponents such as RANDOMFOREIGNER3B they actually don´t have the most amazing of winrates.
In Proleague on the other hand, most of the players are at least close to the skill-level of the top foreign koreans. So if you have a Proleague Player with winrates close to 70%, this is way more impressive then the fact that someone somehow won a game of someone( wtf is this argument about snute beating Stork....thats just irrelevant).

Nice guide !!! <3 Thank you ^_^

My God... Now we are splitting the Koreans up into more than one group. "Koreans" and "Foreign Koreans" lol What the hell? Your argument about which Koreans are better is like Shampoo vs Conditioner:

it's actually not a bad splitting up to do.
foreign Koreans don't play in the actual Korean scene. people don't play better because they're from a different country, it's the scene that shapes a player. As Koreans leave Korea to participate in the foreign scene, they don't participate in the GSL or Proleague. Hence, they're in a different scene that shapes them up differently. I feel it's a distinction worth mentioning, obviously Koreans playing in foreign events aren't bad or anything but the tournaments they play in are certainly easier than GSL or PL.

Ok I have verified that cannon rush doesn't work vs. this opening. Terran has to pull 5-6 workers and build a bunker in the xel'naga, then rally marines there. Without the xel'naga there's no way for the cannon rush to gain high ground vision and hit something. Then it's pretty much autowin.

Though it was an interesting approach to the problem !

The Toss can also steal a gas geyser to get high ground vision. Assimilators have a tremendous amount of hitpoints and shields. The Toss should steal one right away so that he has an extra source of high ground vision in addition to the tower.

That's a good point. I think that there are still some responses to prevent the gas steal but it definitely gives more opportunities.

Gangnam Terran is a best strategy
