1) 9 scout every time (it's not that bad if your opponent doesn't lift, at least you can immediately know the gas timings without losing the probe) 2) if there is a gold base, get a forge and go for a cannon rush on the low ground. 3) send the probe to the xel'naga and give yourself vision to hit the mineral line. ^ lol the post above... First of all, it seems ill-advised to play one base against it, because your will have less total money at any given moment and the position is not exposed enough to make up for the difference. On the other hand, if you have an expansion, you should be able to invest in defence more than usual without getting behind, because there is no real way to safely expand for the terran. So why not just build a couple of canons in each base against drop/banshee and either play it normally or do a massive 7gate 2base blink all in?* *edit: or however many gates you can afford with minerals dumped to forge/canons | ||
