Are Oracle in PvT even viable ?
They're absolutely viable, generally you can go single forge into blink charge/storm, using revelation in lieu of observers. If you're not going to all-in with them, building them in your base is ok, and you can get it after a gate expand. It's up to you though, if you want them to hit faster, build it before you put down your nexus.

That gold base FE into immortal/zealot warp prism build on Habitation Station from IEM is so dirty but oh so good. The amount of Zerg tears harvested today using it could keep a fountain running (I seriously must have hit all the angriest players). It is especially satisfying against those super greedy Zergs who go multiple techs at once and cut corners. It just runs them over most of the time. The best was a guy cursing me out while I killed him as he was going for spire and hydra den and 4 bases at the 10 minute mark. What did he expect? Typically some amount of units beats no units and 60 drones.

so are all the blink builds obslete in pvp after patch? I tried doing my go to builds bu they dont even seem viable even on the best maps for them. The vision nerf really kills it imo you dont know what ur blinking into kinda.

I don't think they are. They got severely nerfed with the MSC vision range because that was your only semi-reliable way of obtaining scouting information. Then again the same applies to any other PvP build that relies on a MSC scout. Wouldn't be surprised to see a lot more sentry first -> blink.

Blink might turn into a more defensive opening (safety vs stargate and a bit of harassment vs fast expand, as opposed to outright killing things), but i don't think it'll be completely dead.

I've been going 2 base Chargelot/Archon recently in PvT and pretty much losing every time and I get the feeling it's my composition getting torn to shreds far too easily by the stimmed Terran army. What would be an ideal amount of Archons and Zealots to go for?

Yes, I don't like dragging out PvT into the lategame so I try to finish games in the midgame phase. Just struggling on getting the correct amount of Archons and Chargelots to take a good engagement.

If you're doing a 2-base all-in, you simply want to get as many archons as you can afford, which is usually around 3 or 4. The key to this all-in is hitting before the Terran player has 2-2; after that, there's no way to make zealot/archon on inferior upgrades work.

Without ranged dps you can't really engage a terran army because you get kited to death. You need either storm or blink stalkers if you don't want to get a 2nd tech.

With the 7 gate charge archon all-in do you get ups? Or just as many archons as you can afford with pure zealot warp ins?

Normally you rush +2 armor to time it with charge; some variations also get 2/2. A good example is Parting's game vs Flash from the first HotS GSL Season on Star Station; you should be able to find the replay in the wcs replay packs.

I just tested the hydra buff (on the protoss end of it) and it looks very scary... Taking a fast 3rd on big maps like Frost now seems out of the question. The only solution is the good old 2 base all-in... not sure it was intended by blizz. What do you think ? Is taking a 3rd at 6:30 with a good simcity still possible, or do you have to go with the late 9:30 third, which puts you far behind ?

A 6:30 third should do much better on paper against Lair based all-ins actually, because by the time they hit (11 ish?) your 3base economy will have kicked in, which it wont if you take a delayed third.

Does anyone have any vods for a 2/3 gate + stargate PvP build? I see pros do it but i can never pull that build off, even against 1 gate robo expand which it's supposed to punish.

Quick question re PvT.
I've been struggling against the 9-10min pressure coming from terrans. I find that between defending drops and trying to take a third i end up trading very inefficiently for a couple of minutes and by the time I get the third running, the terran has had his third for quite some time.
I've noticed a fair few replays where some pros cut probe production after saturating 2 bases, make a few rounds of units and then continue. Is this necessary int he current meta? I've been noticing i will have games where i get to 12 mins and barely setting up a third with 66 probes for a while really being oversaturated.
Are people starting to do the same? i.e. cut probe production at around 50 and then recommencing after securing the third.
