The pro's do fine on any map ^^ Sadly we (or I) are no pro's Havn't played the new maps enough to really give my idea about them, but i believe they do good for mech

That's definitely true. Maybe you have to go more mine heavy.
I was masters at some point and I do feel like my mechanics are still in tact, but I haven't played the game in almost 2 years I really don't remember any timing, strategy or anything along those lines.
While I have been active on other subforums on TL I really haven't watched many progames or streams and I really don't know whats going on in terms of the metagame, I don't remember any BOs either.
I would like to ask for:
- A couple of basic guidelines for TvX in HoTS - A couple of VODs of terrans playing standard (I preffer not to watch) - Useful Threads.
I hope I'm not to much of a bother, but I really don't have as much time as I used to have when the game came out to watch tons of streams and such.

This thread is basically the most useful thread for Terran on all of TL - except people can't read the massive heading which says "Read the OP First" which would've give you builds and other useful knowledge for TvX with some VOD's to back up those claims
Did anyone else just see Illusions maurauder mine hellbat build against Alicia? Anyone have an idea of a build for executing that? I missed the beginning of the game.

Alrghty I have been running into this a lot lately and I am honestly baffeled as to what to do.
Bio/Tank vs Roach/Hydra I seems to not be able to trade very well with the army after 2/2 is completed for the zerg. When they are pulling the Vipers out then I am honestly completely stuck as to how to play. Should I start doing drops to transition into something else? If so what should I transition into? Should I just skip tanks all together and just play straight up Bio/Mine?
When you see even one viper that's pretty much a sign to start pumping out Vikings to keep your ground forces alive/safe from blinding cloud.
Just bio/mine will hit a wall vs roach/hydra with armor upgrades, unless you're solely massing marauders or something- the tanks are there to put down the extra splash damage.
DeMusliM reckons bio works against roach/hydra only if you can gain and keep the upgrade advantage. So he recommended getting fast ebay (think he got it before fact) and then going into double. Will try to find vod on his stream tonight.

a lot of it comes down to the engagement as well.
a better concave plus better upgrades and pure bio should win, but if you take a poor engagement even with superior upgrades you will probably lose.
a question from me, the OP has discussion on ghosts and ravens in tvz. but I was wondering versus ultra queen, a composition I find very strong, is it better to go for ravens before ghosts or vice versa? can you hit enough queens with emp for it to be better than just seeker missiling the queens who cant run or split properly off creep?

haven't seen it, but it sounds similar to this build thorzain used with great success at dreamhack.
Any tips against Protoss Mothership core + blink stalker allins? I find it ridiculous hard to hold, in fact I have never held it. I go Bombers Reaper FE build, I've tried tanks, additional barracks and/or widow mines upon scouting this with the innital reaper, but with no luck.

Well I guess if you can't defend it with tanks, more bio or widow mines then it must be impossible right?
