The second building is an ebay, not a rax, please read my post and try it out, get a friend to 6pool you a couple of times. edit: ebays build really quick and since you're not cancelling your rax until the last second it will finish in time to get repaired, once you have one marine out the lings have to withdraw and you will be ahead with two (soon to be) orbitals
I died to a 6 pool recently. I built the ebay behind my rax but after the rax was dead he just focused the CC and killed it before it finished with the 8 lings. I 14 CC'd and maybe my rax was 2-3 seconds late but I think it is weird that he was able to kill the CC.

Trick is to never stop building it, so always have an scv ready to take over when the current one dies. Don't do the whole stop and build again thing since getting the cc up is more important than losing 2-3 scvs.

He can still kill the cc if he focuses from the start :/

Are you going to continuously one-liner me into being wrong? Because this works, proven. You place the cc in a way that it leaves space for a rax which also means there's less surface area.

Yes I am testing it, on that map it is really nice to wall like that, but how would that wall look like on Neo Planet S? If I do it like in the video I need 3 ebay to block behind the rax. The 2 in thhis pic dont make a full wall or did I do it wrong? http://i.imgur.com/XbQIQCc.jpg

You're right, the ebay can't fit on plenty of maps, but that just means you can't reliably hold a 6p on those maps. On those maps, make sure you place the depot on the side that gives less surface area for your rax and hope they don't 6 pool. If they 6 pool, your rax WILL fall and you will need to rely on other techniques (amazing decision making and crisis management) to survive. Make sure you cancel all the buildings before they fall so that you can spend the money on raxes and depots elsewhere on the map if need be.

In that replay Polt goes for 14 cc and 15 rax which means he cut an SCV to build his rax faster. If you don't cut SCVs then you can only start your rax on 16 food which would greatly increase the chance of your CC being burned down as the rax would go down quicker.
14 cc 15 rax safe, engi bay behind.
14cc 16 rax maybe safe depending on how tight your timings are but i had my CC burn down trying it today, although my rax was about 3 seconds late.
hey guys, im a masters protoss switching to terran for the moment(frustrated with having weak units that need to rely on t3 and a deathball) and I'm having some issues.
In tvp: what should my hotkeys be? should i do MMMG on main, ghosts on another, vikings separate? should i tab to stim during this? When selecting my units for hotkeys from a rally point, should i double click on them to add the units to my hotkeys? if i have vikings, ghosts, and bio in an unhotkeyed army, it will take forever if double click on each type of units
In tvz: what should my hotkeys be(confuse with how i should do widow mines)? how should i approach dropping a base that has a lot of defense?
if anyone would like to share some insights of things that i should know or things that took you a long time to figure out, please tell me!
edit: oh ya, how exactly do i go about having my main army and splitting off a medivac or 2 to drop with?

Ideally you want all army, MM, ghost, and vikings on separate keys (I'll admit to tabbing myself in the heat of the moment, but it is a bad habit). You want the MM separate from medivacs ideally so you can micro them and still have them heal. I have a hotkey setup that makes this easier than standard though, so you may just need MMM on one (and maybe can box or ctrl-click to select MM to micro it).
You can ctrl-click units to select all on screen, it is much faster and easier than double clicking.
TvZ, I'd have at least all army on one hotkey, mines on a separate key for quick burrow / unburrow and positioning.
Splitting off for harass, load up your vac, move it out, select all army hotkey, shift select harass unit to deselect it, reset hotkey group. It will take some practice to get it down.

LOL
This is awesome.
Welcome to terran LOL.
No but seriously, in TvP the standard is 1 hotkey for vikings, 1 for ghosts, and 1 for MMM. Ghosts taking priority over MMM units is one reason why people don't like to group ghosts with MMM. Another reason being you have to have your ghosts forward while you want your MMM back. Then after ghosts do their emp you want to try to run them away and / or clock.
In TvZ a lot of pros hotkey their widow mines separately from their bio force. I feel like that's kind of a waste because you never want to burrow your widow mines clump together all at the same time (because a couple banes will destroy them all). What I do in TvZ is just hotkey everything together, minus my viking and a separate drop or two and just micro little clumps individually with boxing rather than using my hotkey.
So how do you hold a MSC + blink stalker all-in when doing a 15 gas reactor expand with an early widow mine drop? This isn't addressed in the OP on a blink stalker all-in.

This is actually one of the more convenient responses: if the protoss doesnt get observers he dies, because, once you stabilize, protoss will have no detection to your widow mine drop. By getting observers, protoss will delay his push in time for your 2 tanks and 2 bunkers to finish, completely shutting down his aggression, turtle inside your main, use tanks to slowly push and get an idea of his unit count. Many stalkers? Completely allin: set scvs to autorepair. Not so many stalkers? Hopefully you have an scv out on the map to check whether he has expanded or not. If not add turrets and push out to take your natural. As a transition I like to add on rax and go for a tank/combat shield marine timing, as many protosses try to greedy tech after a failed allin. Its hard to stop this allin, but it's definitely possible!

I was just curious if there was any way to waypoint medivacs to your moving army without them automatically picking up the unit they are waypointed to and ruining all of your other stuctures waypoints. Its very frustrating to have all of those ruined, so would I need to just constantly change my starports waypoint?

15 rax is standard
The standard is that you build your 14cc, you queue one scv and rally it to your ramp and build a barracks with that scv, meanwhile already being at 16 supply, cause you started another scv.

You are supposed to cut the SCV otherwise your going to get supplyblocked at 19/19 and gain nothing. If you build the rax at 15 or go 15gas 16 rax your 19th scv will finish just as both your rax and your 2nd cc finish, and you will have just enough minerals to start both orbitals right away.
