Terran Mechanics/Improvement Guide (most useful thing I ever read on TL) http://www.teamliquid.net/blogs/viewblog.php?topic_id=297764 Nice discussion that's more of a guide actually, extremely usefull as well - especially for TvP http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=312554

Edit: Wait I just checked, and that's not true at all. There are more Protoss and Zerg guides than Terran guides, did you mean the other way around? >< Silly me ![]()

That said, I feel some of them could be broken into competitive and none competitive articles. I can see a casual player looking to get the basics down getting overwhelmed by the size of some more competitive guides.

http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=319339 I've been playing a little SC2 the last few days after a 6 month break, and I can't win PvZ or PvP for the life of me, but that PvT build is still golden.

monk knows that build is pretty decent--it's played against his Terran probably about 10 times. I'm agnostic as to whether it should go in the recommended threads list at this point--I think it's a really good build, but staying on 2 gates as long as it does is a pretty radical concept in today's PvT metagame, and I doubt we'll see pros trying that any time soon. Nonetheless, it actually works pretty well at my level of play, and I'm absolutely nowhere close to executing it as well as it could be executed. The skill ceiling on a multitasking-focused templar style is basically limitless. If the thread's standard is that the build is commonly used in the pro scene, then this doesn't make the cut. But if the standard is a clear, thorough guide that can help lower level players execute and give some new ideas to higher level players, then it might be worth considering. That's actually one of the reasons i wrote the guide on the Startale build.
