you do not have to worry about this cheese as we are one and we are willing to share our knowledge together. This evening, i confronted this cheese as a result of it being posted on tl. at the time i had not read this post so i did not know about it. because the map was xelnaga caverns I put down an early spine crawler just as my expo finished, (went 14 hatch 14 pool). also because it was xelnaga caverns i went roaches (hellions -.-) as soon as his all in arrived i started 3 roaches. although i lost all my lings i only lost 3 drones and as soon as my 3 roaches popped, he could not do anything i stayed on my creep with my queen and drones and 3 roaches like a man !!! (why so nerdy) ( me nerd) :D ok here's the replay. im diamond and i checked this player's profile. But obviously it's harder to hide your intention from a scout than with a 2 rax, because although you can proxy one of your barracks, you're obviously cutting workers --> obviously proxying. Would it be credible to use a 2-rax OC opening without cutting workers (which allows you to mule instead of depot - <3) and then proxy two barracks to make up for lost time? | ||

Terran has to do better than kill your natural and go home if he's cutting that many SCVs AND pulling that many SCVs off the line for that long. | ||

Abandon your nat or not, your pool is going to be out at a much later timing if you went for a hatch first. It means less time to get blings/roaches to deal with this properly. Also, what are you going to do if he ignores your nat and goes up your ramp? Also, MULES makes the push not 100% allin, and that if you kill a good number of drones while not winning outright, you'll still turn up even. | ||

Build 2 proxy rax on the way to your opponent's base, but slightly out of the way, so they don't get scouted as easily and rally from 4 raxes to the opponent's base. The timing is exactly when you would have 400 minerals to expand with a standard 2 rax. This variation is best vs Z, much less so against T and P, but it is very robust, since you don't have to pull that many scvs and get significantly more marines than scvs in the end army. It is important to practice micro in making an SCV line to protect from zerglings/zealots with this. | ||
