You know how you can shift click units out of a selected group. You can also Ctrl+Shift click to deselect all the units of a type from a control group.

This way, you can do 4szzzzz, then shift ctrl click out the all the unspent larva in one click, and then shift add the eggs to your army hotkey, rather than having to find them at the rally and add them. This also allows you to set your rally points somewhere that doesn't leave all your overlords at a vulnerable location.

Ctrl+clicking the eggs in that scenario would do the same thing, with one less keystroke.

#518 (T) Always be thinking about supply depot placement when watching replays. Look for placements that could come in handy instead of just placing them in a large clump. Don't think too much about this in-game.

#519 You can disable the ability to click the menu items in game so that it does not happen accidentally.

(seen in a day[9] broadcast)
When your opponent is applying pressure outside your base, park a small group of units (ie 3-4 zerglings) in a narrow place along the route between your opponent's army and his main. Until your opponent notices and does something about them, they'll get free kills on units coming from production buildings rallied to his army.

When warping in more than one of the same unit, for example a stalker, select the warp gates, press "s", hold shift and just click. Saves you a lot of time and clicking when compared to pressing s and clicking every time.

Whenever I get a ling run by, hide some lings in the corner, burrow them or just hide them, morph to banelings, attack somewhere to get attention and run into min line.

OR in ZvZ Ive been having huge success with early pool, get lings attack, but than run some lings n hide them in his base and do an early "baneling sneak" into his min line. Basically wins games

He literally meant reading over your own tip. So many people think of "stim" as "stun"...

#521 (Z) To make a baneling suicide into one of your lings simply attack it, hold down shift, left-click one zergling and run back with the rest of the group.

#522 (T) Hotkey the supply depot which is walling off your ramp, so when you are busy microing your army in the opponents base and you see a counterattack on your minimap, you can close the door with "R" very fast. Can save you lots of frustration especially vs zerglings.

260. (P) It takes 21 Banelings to kill an 3/3/3 Archon

this tip is somewhat misleading as it's assuming the blings are 0/0, there is never a situation where you will have 3/3/3 archons and 0/0 bangelings. it takes 16 3/3 bangelings to kill a 3/3/3 archon (by all means still very efficent of the archon), but you also have to take into account the archon's high dmg and aoe which kills off a few blings, which in that case, i'd say about 14 blings if the archon is in stasis.

#523 (Z) Banelings with +2 melee attack 1hit Probes and Drones but not SCVs because they do 43 damage. Probes and drones have 40hp and scvs have 45hp. Usefull knowledge for baneling drops^^

#524 (ZvT) When using neural parasite on tanks and vikings, unsiege the tanks and land the vikings just before the neural parasite runs out. That way they are easier to kill with your lings/roaches.

#525. (T) Occasionally getting Infantry Armor is wiser vs zerg. Consider how a zergling damage drops from 5 to 4 - that's 20%. While if a marine has the weapons upgrade his damage increases from 6 to 7 which is only a 16.7% increase.

Marines vs queens. Armor upgrade on marine causes queen damage to drop from 4 (x2) to 3 (x2) which is a 25% drop. Queen armor of 1 means the marine damage is 5, with the upgrade its 6 or a 20% increase. Again, in this situation you want armor first.

#526 (T) Point defense drones with the durable materials upgrade makes it so ravens will regain sufficient energy to recast if the PDD expires. This can be used to incredible effect vs Zerg, as you can drop multiple PDDs in your own base near turrets and any mutalisks will not be able to attack anything near until the PDD is out of energy, which is after 20 volleys. Multiple PDD's will render most muta harassment useless or at least inefficient when placed near turrets. It can also be used to save workers for a long period of time.

i think weapon ups are still better because marines have stim and can attack with more at a time than zerglings...
also what zerg is ever gonna make queens to fight your marines.

Yeah, the logic behind attack before armor in TvZ is that "let's kill them before they can attack us", something that reduces damage taken even more than armor.

Similarly, it is often worth it for zergs in ZvT to take armor upgrade for ground units (lings etc.), although that's a more interesting point to debate. Armor helps very much against siege splash, but also against fast-firing marines. However, +attack is awesome for banelings that connect. On the other hand, banelings that connect are awesome anyway.

Oh, and +attack for Mutas is a given, since mutas should optimally not take damage - either you harass or you tank with ground units. Mutas should rarely or never fight straight-up.
