[H] dealing with HT as terran in later game

If the protoss player makes it to the mid-late game, I'm having difficulties with dealing with HT. I find that there tends to be a large army in front with the templar behind, and i'm not able to emp them. So, I'm asking the TL crew - what do you do?

I have tried with a few tanks (but got killed by zealots) and also tried with bio, but I guess I'm just not good with this...

Ghosts brah. You just need to get some Ghosts with EMP. EMP is great not only against HT, but every unit with shields which, by my calculation, is every fucking unit in the Protoss army. Try just rushing to Ghost tech in your next TvP, and have fun with it. Get some Ghosts and do drops with cloaked ghosts and nukes. I know the Nukes are easy to dodge which is why you hit the pylons that are powering important buildings like Gateways or Robotic Factories.

Seriously though you have to deal with them the same way you deal with infestors. A HT with no energy is just going to morph (which makes them slightly better than infestors in my opinion as they have a 0 energy option).

Now you may be asking, "Sabin010, how exactly do I get to the HT with my ghosts? Even if I use cloak won't his observer still see me?!?" Well, I will answer that too. The trick is to siege up, scan to kill the observer, cloak and go emp them HTs! If he trys to engage your tanks are already up.

In my opinion at least, and I think the prevailing opinion of most players, the best way to deal with high templar is ghosts. It certainly can be difficult to emp in lategame though, with huge protoss armies. Here are two tips that I try to do...
1) Try to use scan/raven + vikings to snipe observers and then go in with cloaked ghosts to EMP/snipe templar
2) In a big fight, use EMP with a few ghosts on his main army (that's good too) and then try to devote some of your apm to microing more ghosts to EMP the templar as they come in from behind.

There's no sure answer though and I'm not very experienced with Terran so probably my advice isn't the most useful.

You should really have at least 4 ghosts so just emp his whole army.. and tbh not alot of people should be going ht after the ka was removed so i guess it is a win win for you, but GL. and also if you really want serious answers you need to post replays (not saying this isn't serious but i cannot be descriptive)

Ghosts against HTs now are amazing, if you get a good emp off on his templars, he can't jsut warp in 3-4 more to insta-storm. Also they work great vs all toss units because of shield dmg, especially immortals. I always grab a few in TvP, worst comes to worst you can always qxc nuke harass
