Everything else should be tailored to the individual though since everyones hands and the way they think is different I posted about mousewheel warp in a monthish ago but no one really cared so w/E I cared. <3 I modified it a little for my own use though, as the "double click" of the scroll wheel was too good to waste on a camera location. I use down for my production buildings, and up for my main army. That way I can easily "tap" back and forth. Big scroll down returns me to my warp gate location (main base) and big scroll forward takes me to my army. Quickly. I use one of the side mouse buttons as Alt, and Alt+ any convenient keyboard key is a location.

The one thing I changed is setting warpgates to spacebar. I'm used to tapping it all the time, and don't want the camera centering on my gates as i do it.

(1) Do hotkey profiles save to your Battle.net account? As in, if I play SC2 on a friend's computer while logged into my Battle.net ID, will I be able to use my own hotkey set-up? (2) Are custom hotkeys tournament-legal? I'm intrigued by this set-up and would like to use it so. Thanks!

Everytime you save a new hotkey setup, you will get a dialog box popup that tells you it has been saved on the Battle.net server. If you use a different computer to log into your account, I'm fairly certain the procedure is that the game downloads your hotkey setup to the local computer as you get logged in. 2. Custom hotkeys, i.e. those changed within the game are completely legal. There is some question whether customizable hardware is, i.e. keyboard and mouse. It is likely to depend on the tournament. To accomplish the mousewheel scroll as control group functionality, you need to make a couple changes outside the game. While perfectly acceptable by Blizzard, the game doesn't recognize scrolling when trying to change hotkeys. You have to setup your mouse to send a different character when the wheel scrolls, then program that key in the game to your control group. Perfectly acceptable by Blizzard. Tournament rules may vary, at least online ones. I would be shocked if the "play at home" tournaments had a problem with it.

I just had been playing around with hotkeys again, and the message about being saved to Battle.net only applies to your "current" setup. So, as long as you last use the one you want saved, you're ok. But Battle.net apparently doesn't save however many profiles you have setup. Only the most recent. If you have different profiles you want to transport, I'd suggest emailing them to yourself as an attachment, so you can access them from the other computer, then copy them into the folder and you're good to go.
