Good set up for Zerg and EVERY race is GRID. When you give it few days. Then F2-F4 for map. And [H][N][U][J][M] for next map group. This set up works good for random. Bonus set up for zerg is when you have mouse with 5 buttons. Set button4 same as BACKSPACE and button5 for some control group (I choose 0) to select all queens. Then you [MB4] [MB5] [X] <SHIFT> [MB4] click [MB4] click [MB4] click... </SHIFT> (you can hold [X] instead of [LSHIFT]. When you don't have 5 button mouse, set Queen CG, NextHatch, InjectLarvae for keys next to each other to EASILY inject larva. Best is to STORE current map setting (and even selected units), Inject Larva by multiple queens (less then 2secons in game), RESTORE current map settings. My setup: [CTRL]+[J], [CTRL]+[7], [MB5], hold [X], MB4+click, MB4+click... release [X], J, 7 This will save current map, save selected units, inject larva in less then 2 seconds and restore selected units+actual map position before inject. Also set [CAPS LOCK] for buing Overlord like: [Q] [CapsLock] (because when you [Q] [W] when there are no larvae, you'll build queen) This set up is very good. When you let it few days to settle you won't regret it. --- The reason why THIS IS GOOD is that you have every action on left hand. Most distant keys are [u] [j] [m] for map placement. And there are really not much usage for these. [F2]-[F4] + [h] + [n] are usually enough. | ||
