i don't hotkey warpgates, not sure why you would as sc2 has a built in hotkey for them (W), and i usually don't hotkey stargates/robo either, i just use camera hotkey of whatever base my production is in + manually click the building. if i felt like i needed to hotkey robo or stargate, like if i was going 2 robo or 2/3sg, i would probably put them on 6 or maybe replace the msc on 4

as i'm playing i make snap decisions to rebind 2 and 3. if i have a major army split (like two separate deathballs on different sides of the map) i'll use both 1 and 2 for army, and 3 goes to whatever is more important - warp prism, oracle, phoenix, etc.

i know it might seem like too much APM, but if you just practice changing your groups during the game it really isn't that hard

No need to get really specific into the detailed build order, I can work that out, but like whether it's still reaper FE, CC first etc..
