New to SC2/RTS, Wood League. Primary reason things have felt smooth/easy thus far is because I've been watching a ton of Day9's old Noobie Tuesday videos and FilterSC's Bronze to Masters series (just finished 1 through 10 and noticed he has a Zerg series so that's next.) However, this is all old content. Obviously, a lot of the generic/basic stuff is still relevant but for more current (and Zerg-focused) strategy/tips, are there any current names in the scene? (Or old names that have a Zerg focus, as Day9 = Protoss & FilterSC = Terran) | ||

I'm not doing any roach burrow movement plays, just talking about getting ling burrowed to deny later bases, saving my drones/queens in case of a base trade later on, etc. I never get this upgrade and would like to incorporate it more, but not sure how early is "too early". | ||

It has taken me a while to learn LotV, but right now I am improving rapidly in PvZ and PvP. PvP is (to me) very similar to HOTS, and I'm playing in mid diamond, and my control is just better than these guys. So I keep a very high winrate in that matchup. Around 80% at the moment. PvZ is hard for me, but I've learned a new style, that I really like, and that I can improve a lot on, and which is not skillcapped. PvT is the problem. I'm flopping around, trying random stuff, but in the end, I lose a lot of games to people I should never lose to. I do damage, outgreed, but one fight vs Libs and I can lose a fight 2-1 in cost. I try having a lot of stalkers and focus fire, but the problem with having half your army as stalkers, is the marauders crush them afterwards. The question: Which regular streamer is crushing PvT? I need the PtitDrogo of PvT. But who is that? Is there such a streamer. No suggestions lower than GM. I do not want to end up playing strats that have a skill sealing. | ||
