Here's my question. Durable materials used to make seeker missile chase its target for longer. I assume that now the upgrade does nothing for seekers, which have been redesigned quite a bit in HoTs. Can anyone confirm whether or not this is true, or does durable materials still upgrade seekers somehow?

The builds on the sc2 liquipedia page, are they up to date? I just noticed that gosubuilds and the one on the wiki are different, Im just looking for a couple easy builds to get back into practice with is all. I was only high silver when I left so just a couple builds to practice on would be sweet, just wanna make sure the ones im looking at are up to date. Thanks

I'd recommend you to look at the Help Me threads to look for the most common build orders nowadays.

1. Taking a break from SC2. This hasn't worked and it just makes me worse at the game. 2. Taking a break from games in general. This also hasn't worked. 3. Disabling my chat hotkeys. This just forces my muscle memory to hit the Enter key and type then mismicro even more as a result. Also, if you don't type "gl hf" to your opponent, he will likely get butthurt and cheese the crap out of you. And it doesn't stop you from messaging your opponent post-game. 4. Quitting SC2. I just get an urge to play it a week or two later. How do I stop this? I feel horrible about it, it makes me feel like a morally bankrupt being and it makes me feel ashamed about sharing any replays of my own play. It's like the last time I shared a replay like this on the Strategy forum and asked specifically for help with on this point it resulted in 95% of the replies calling me a f**king asshole and explicitly refusing to offer help.

Does the abductor's army damage the abducted unit during the abduct animation?

The abducted unit doesn't attack while it's being abducted (it's effectively "stunned") but it can be attacked by the zerg army. @Clbull This may sound too repetitive, but just don't take the game that seriously. Accept that losses are inevitable; the matchmaking system makes sure of that. Just chill and move on.

Have you ever tried? Of course if you upload a replay where you spend the last minute or so BMing, people won't be as keen to help you, and for good reason (idk about others, but I would never help somebody who BMed just because he played like shit) Or, you could continue BMing and raging like you are now. Have fun with that.

Yes right. When I was an active sc2 player, I went through many a replays on the strat forum, and I know there are plenty of other people who still does. You just have to make a decent thread outlining the details and asking for specific questions. No one will help you if you just go "heres a replay. Help me". Rule of thumb: If you can't put any effort into it, no one else will either.

The way I avoide raging when I lose is to very quickly press the Play Again button. I can't get too hung up on a bad loss if I'm already thinking about the next game. Also, if you feel like raging before the game is over, just surrender. When I win, I appreciate a GG, but I'd rather not get a GG than get BMed just because I won the game.

There are only so many important/accurate actions needed in a game right? Its actually opposite. If you look away from the spam in the beginning, apm automatically gets faster as you get better. This isn't because you click on more unnecessary stuff, but rather because you're doing more at the same time. The 300+apm pro players have isn't because they spam a lot, its because they do a lot of stuff really really fast.

Was watching a GM protoss stream, and 10+ minutes into the game, most of what this player was doing was just toggling through their hotkeys and groups over and over again. And not going to each and producing something like an upgrade or a unit, but spamming the hotkeys for whatever reason. It made no sense to me. He did lose the game too...
