1) what is the proper response to 1 base macro hatch zergling aggression in zvz? do i cancel my hatch? build a spine? am i able to get banelings out in time if i go 18 gas, or do i need to switch to a gas-pool/pool-gas build? any other general tips? this is the only matchup i completely despise, and i only hate it in the very early game. i really struggle with it, because if i don't defend correctly it's over so fast that it's hard to even process and learn anything from it.
2) can anyone tell me the exact time your main begins to mine out, assuming standard saturation?
3) what supply should i drone scout at to check for proxies?
1) you should always use your first overlord to go over to their base. Lets assume you went 15 hatch. when you see no expand by them, then they are obviously doing some sort of rush. just keep making units. even if hes making drones of 1 hatch, you can catch up later because you have 2 hatcheries. just keep making lings, and add on a bane nest with your first 50 gas. you should be fine.
3) you don't need to drone scout for proxies. spread you overlords out in places that give you vision around the map, and use your starting 4 lings to go around and check proxy locations. you really don't need to drone scout for proxies as a zerg.

Does anybody know where I can find a replay of the PvT Phoenix build Minigun is doing these days (Not the VOD.) I'd appreciate it. I think he mentioned on stream that he took it from the Chinese pro player Jim.
Thanks in advance!

Overseers are quite slower (without Pneumatized Carapace) than most zerg units, so they will be the units falling behind in a retreating army. Since they will most likely be killed to stim marines or a blink from stalkers, the unused energy will be wasted if not dumped. The changelings will give a full scout of the pursuing army, and if they are not killed, they can be sent elsewhere to scout as well.

1) If u take gas at 18 food, you should have plenty of minerals for both a spine and 2-3 queens. As long as the speedlings cant get into your main, you should be able to defend with slow lings, queens and a spine. Just make sure you set 2 queens on hold position on your ramp in reach of your spine. (its kinda micro intensive)
3) I like to drone scout in zvt with my 10th drone (when popping). scout the two most popular places for proxies and then continue to his main and scout for gas. (reaper or not)
This is only my own opinions, so there might be more effective ways to handle this but at least it got me to diamond (EU)
Gl with ladder : )

Yday 30/7/13 the system updated a patch on SA. now cant go back to EU or other region. any suggestions of how to be able to go back ? roll back the patch?

1) I believe its best to stop getting gas at all if you scout early aggression, invest your extra minerals in queens and spines, these are extremely cost effective defence and you save your larva, which you can then use to drone up and gain a significant drone advantage.
You can use this to get a huge lead on a roach mid game, and the extra 2-3 queens will be a great backbone for any defence (transfuse spines vs any land attack, and general air attack against muta). With the creep spread you can also redeploy spines to your 3rd while its still building.
2) Dunno doesnt matter.
3) You dont drone scout for proxies, the chances of you getting proxied are quite small and the advantage you get from it is not that terribly big, leading to an overall bad effectiveness of it. Pros usually only drone scout for proxies if they know the opponent they face use a proxy build as an integral part of their strategies.

Is there a way to use a different key other than ctrl to put my units into control groups? I have a hard time reaching ctrl and shift with my pinky. Maybe like this key: ( ` ) that's directly left to 1 on the keyboard.

I have a sc2 marauder keyboard where I have remapped the ctrl key to the shift key and the shift key to the caps lock key.
There has to be programs you can download for remapping keys on any keyboard.

I have a razer black widow. What program would I need to remap my keys?

With the razer black widow - it's part of the keyboard driver. Use Synapse.

Is there a way to disable the camera zooming in and out with the mouse wheel spinning? I seemingly can't avoid spinning the wheel a bit during games, it's a distraction, wastes APM readjusting the zoom and provides no benefit that I can see.

Judging by the size of the answers and questions of this thread, it doesn't seem to be adhering too much to the "simple" part... anyways: What are some reliable build order resources? I have trouble finding what I'm looking for sometimes by searching through Liquipedia or the strategy threads, or it just doesn't exist on TL, and I only know of imbabuilds.com, which is good, but I'm wondering if there are any more good ones out there that I haven't heard of.

Options -> Controls -> uncheck Enable Mouse Wheel Zoom

Have you looked at the Race specific help threads?

can someone explain why oracles aren't overpowered? i dont have a specific complaint but whenever i see them on streams they just look crazy good. (to be clear: not complaining. i just want to know what the thought process is)

(to be clear: not complaining. i just want to know what the thought process is) Because if an orcale does a ton of damage it's probably because you weren't prepared for it because you didn't scout it. For example as Terran, around the time when an oracle hits, you should have 6 marines at each mineral line, because an oracle by itself can kill 5 marines. So just taking that measure greatly reduces the odds of an oracle getting 5+ worker kills. EDIT: also, one turret or cannon or spore shuts down an oracle because it can only get 3 kills (I think) before it dies to the turret/cannon/spore. So the defensive precautions to shut down oracles are not too extensive, which makes them not overpowered, like hellbats were before the nerf (defensive precautions were too expensive, extensive)
