There is no need to do all that. All you gotta do is LOGIN, and wait 10 seconds/until the border or your portrait flashes. The 1vs1 will unlock. Now my question: where do I buy a cheap starcraft 2 EU key?? Well, good news! You can use a single account now to play on all servers (KR, NA, and EU,etc.)! Before logging in, there should be a button labeled "Game Region" I believe. Click it, and select a new server to play on. Your NA account (or KR, or whatever) will not transfer, you will start over with an entirely new "account" with a different screen name and new ranking/history. Edit: Blizzard's Global Play FAQ: https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/starcraft-ii-global-play-faq thank you. But I only got a eu license for Wol, so you mean that if I buy a na key I can still play on EU?? Seems odd.
Yes. If you buy one EU WoL, and another NA WoL, you will have 2 accounts to play on EU.
While accounts are global, your game client isn't. That means if you bought a EU WoL, you HAVE to buy a EU hots key. It wont work if you buy the wrong key for the wrong region.

The primary reasons for these structures is to prevent ramp blocking techniques, which were once particulrly prevalant in PvZ, by using pylons and a single cannon to lock a zerg player in to one base. The reason for destroying them is to prevent accidentally attacking them whilst microing during an important defensive engagement, since typically you'll have at least one unit defending your natural anyway. Accidentally attacking a neutral depot when zerglings are trying to surround can be bad, for instance.

Yes, global play was added to all versions of SC2 a couple patches ago. Even WoL can play across regions.

It's to prevent walling in with a pylon block or bunker rush, which mostly hurts Zerg as they are the most likely to fast expand and get cut in half. Most players just kill it so that it's no longer there and they don't accidentally click it in battle and mismicro their units.

Photon Overcharge + Chronoboost on Nexus = ?
a) Nexus shooting faster b) Photon Overcharge running out earlier c) Nothing
Is it one of those or a+b or something completely different?

Chronoboost will not increase the rate of fire of Photon Overcharge, though shield regeneration and production speed of the Nexus will still increase as always.
Interestingly enough, CB DOES effect the rate of fire of a planetary fortress. I believe the 'logic' behind it not effecting the rate of fire of PO is that PO is a spell cast on the building rather than an inherent function of the building itself.

why prime players have their name at the end instead of the begining of their ID? Creator.Prime MarineKing.Prime
EG.HuK ah... HuK.EG?
idk its weird :/

ZvZ: Why are pros able to drone up so much before building their first lings? Do they just build lings when they see lings with their overlord? What if the opponent hid the lings and sent a bunch at once?

As the other guy said it's there to prevent ramp blocking cheese. Something he forgot to mention though is that you will also destroy it so that you can actually build at the spot where it is :-)

http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/Viking
This article has some confusing info regarding viking.
"Assuming no upgrades, Vikings deal 10 (+4 armored) x2 damage per attack to air. Therefore it takes 5 attacks to almost deplete their shields (140 damage). After that they deal 13 x2 damage to the hull per attack (colossi naturally have 1 armor). 6 attacks will deplete their shields and deal 16 damage to the hull. After that it takes 8 shots to deplete their hull health (184 remaining, 26 damage per shot), for a total of 14 shots. "
I don't understand. :S

Really it's just a stylistic thing, but I believe it's because Prime's origins were as a gaming clan which later became a professional team. Traditionally, a gaming clan was an organization independent of the teams for which it's members played, so players could have nametags that looked like [TeamName]PersonalName.ClanName, or something like that.
I don't think many people make the distinction any more, Prime is now considered both a gaming clan and team in full capacity, but I believe the 'Prime' gets put at the end of their IDs as an homage to Prime's roots as a gaming clan.

Sorry, but what exactly do you not understand? Viking "shots" are composed of two attacks each, each attack is 10 (+4 vs armored). Thus it takes 14 "shots", or 28 attacks, to kill a colossus. In short, 14 vikings will 1-shot a colossus (barring any upgrade disparity).

There is no game time, you buy it once and it works forever (or at least until Blizzard decides to shut down the servers). It's quite unlike WoW in that respect.

Why are Ghosts good vs. Archons? Archons are large, and EMP only takes out 100 shields. You'd take out way more shields by EMPing a clump of Zealots that aren't interspersed with Archons, right?

Is it better to tank with stalkers infront of marines or vice versa?

Really depends on what you're up against. If zerglings, then stalkers can tank a lot more while marines dish out more damage, but if you're up vs, say marauders, then marines should be in the front. If its hard to judge, id put marines in front for the sole reason that they are cheaper to rebuild.

How should I get out of a slump? Currently I am about 5-35 in my last 40 games, and I can't even point to any concrete error in my play leading to this slump. I just end up losing somehow, game after game, and I don't know how to fix it.

Happens to everyone, and you come out stronger on the other end once you've climbed that wall. I'd say one of the most important things you can do is watch the replay and see where you went wrong. If you have 35 losses in the last 40 games, it shouldn't take long until you start finding a pattern. Maybe you stop making works too soon? Maybe there are big flaws in your builds? Watch the replay from the enemy perspective, what did he do right, how did he find your weakness, and how can you stop him next time?

The thing is, as I said, I keep losing games for different reasons. Some games I get outmacroed, some games i outmacro the other player but make terrible decisions or take terrible engagements, other games i move-command my army and lose it all. Ultimately, i think I'm just not playing as...crisp? as usual, as my mistakes are all over the place. I think it's probably more of a mindset issue.

Like I said. Go through your replays. There might be a fundamental flaw in your execution that you haven't seen yet. If nothing else, you'll learn a tiny bit from every game you watch, so you don't do those same mistakes again.
