I was just wondering because right now I'm high bronze and my goal was to get to platinum.. but now with hots on the way I'm not sure if I should put time into learning builds etc.

The good ones, anyway (1 gate expand, 3rax, etc). Only the mid and late games should really change all that much.

Fly away from the phoenix, then instantly turn around and one-shot-kill a phoenix. Rinse and repeat, not cost efficient but it can work (especially if it's 3-4 base Zerg against 1 stargate phoenixes).

A third can, as a natural or a main, refer to two things: Either the geographical position on a map where you would "logically" take your third base as expanding. Sometimes there is one viable position, sometimes two. On Daybreak it would be the third position on a line from the mains. On the leftmost position look upwards, on the rightmost look down. It might be argued that the bases towards the middle by the watchtowers are also potential third base positions. http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/Daybreak The second thing it can refer to is the -actual- third base you've built. That might be on a different position than geographical proximity allows. So if you had a third base on Daybreak hidden away somewhere then that would be your third. So to answer your second question. It can in the sense that you could take your third expansion at another natural exp. This is usually the case on fourplayer maps such as Antiga Shipyard http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/Antiga_Shipyard where there are several unoccupied mains and naturals. You could conceivably take your geographical third as your second exp, and then take your natural as your third for whatever reason but that would typically be called a natural anyway.

If I scout toss going air, what is the simplest thing I can do to combat it. Hydras? Going to preface my statement by saying that Toss is my main race, and I play quite a bit of Skytoss, particularly in PvZ. That said, I don't play much Zerg, so take what I say with a grain of salt. Hydras have insane damage, but their speed off creep and their low health reduce their viability in anything other than a defensive role (excluding crazy shenanigans like nydus worms). In large engagements, a couple of colossi or even sufficient numbers of carriers should have no trouble cleaning the floor with large groups of hydras; pathing collisions and mid-tier range become major hindrances with hydras in large groups. Of the responses that I've seen, infestors tend to be unilaterally the best. They directly counter one of Skytoss' biggest strengths, which it's mobility. Good fungals are crucial to picking off a couple units here and there, which is the most effective reduction of strength of a Skytoss army. Infested terrans also add crucial DPS in key engagements. For accompaniment, corruptors are probably the best, as they have the health and armor to provide a meatshield for your infestors, but don't rely on them too heavily as their damage is rather lackluster on their own. Ultimately, the composition you want to move toward is heavy infestor/corruptor, with maybe just a few hydras sprinkled in for DPS and a couple of brood lords to keep HTs and their storms at bay.

edit/update -- I found his twitter account and it looks like he is just working behind the scenes When asked "How come I don't see you working anymore?" his response was "a mark of a good house elf is that you never know he is there" edit/update 2 Here is Fishuu's twitter, you might can ask him there. From the looks of it he might be working on starting a webcomic. https://twitter.com/fishuuuu

Doesn't it make the matchup more viable in favour of T since they're losing alot now ? It just makes the Ghost op once again and used against every zerg unit way too cost efficiently. I'm currently in gold league. I played three games tonight and won all of them. The first time, they put me up against a platinum player, and I won. I assumed that Blizzard was going to put me against all platinums until I get promoted, but the next game, I was put against a gold (which is fine), and the game after that, I was up against a silver. What's up with that? I thought they only put you against people in lower leagues if they want to demote you or something.
