If you go in to the achievements page and find it (under campaign, story mode) and find your brutal completionist achievement you can find the one's you need to complete on that difficulty greyed out. 2) What would be the normal answer to a fast 3 bases zerg ? Expand + 6 gates pressure ? 1 base allin to punish him ? Timed attack with colossi ? Stargate build ? 3) Is it better to catch in a vortex every infestors on the map or every broodlords ? (during the first moments of the big fight, not necessarily having archons) 4) Why isn't contaminate used every game ? I see a lot of zergs dropping tons of changeling to empty the overseer's mana in case of feedback instead of using contaminate .. Thank you. | ||

Thank you. 1) It depends what is in the medivac, as well as positioning behind minerals etc. 2) You haven't said what race you are, I'll assume protoss due to your 3rd question, it depends on what tech they go for. 3 base roach max means you will need stalkers, sentries and immortals off of 2 base, 3 if you can get a wall up in time on the 3rd. Muta = Blink stalkers and prey tbh, if a 3rd is not already up, you'll never get it up, so you will have to brute force the muta ball, then take a 3rd. 3) It really doesn't matter tbh, they can't function amazingly without each other, so just go for the vortex with more in it 4) I'm toss, but I think because it involves sending them to the enemy base which means they will probably die. Correct me if I'm wrong, I'm Protoss so idk about other races too well | ||

The only place I know of to watch sc2 are: 1. sc2casts.com (which is okay, but most of the vods are usually a month old when updated, and are just random youtube casters who've never casted before, which im fine with, but it isn't exactly relevant games, and most games uploaded is some random ladder guy giving out a replay of him beating idra so most of the games is some weird cheese of a pro, or just some goofy game one way or another, more about novelty than what is today's strategy) 2. Gomtv People talk about like, IPL, this arena, that team league, but where do people watch this stuff? Is most of this stuff pay content? How do people watch these other tournaments? I just watch all of the GOMTV games (wcs korea, gstl, gsl, etc), and sometimes I know that MLG streams are going on, but how do people watch all this other stuff? I don't really like watching streams (hours of sitting through non-zerg games or players that aren't the absolute best or commercials or downtime) because I prefer to watch VODs, so I can watch specific, relevant match-ups that I specifically have trouble with, or of the only few bestplayers out there, so I can rather play the game more instead of spend hours on streams or whatever.... but I'd like to check out the finals of ZvX series of certain other tournaments.. so just wondering where everyone hears about all these other tournies from. | ||

TL calender and LR threads. You must not venture out of the strategy section ever. NASL and IPL have youtube channels. MLG has their own website. Most EU tournaments store their vods on twitch. This site is good for aggregated vods. Most LR threads have links to the vods as well. | ||

You also need 2 emails for smurf accounts. I found a neat workaround for one of my smurfs though. I had some periods in my e-mail, like Sample.Email.Account@gmail.com and I just took the periods out for the smurf. Both accounts go to the same email but bnet thinks they're for 2 separate emails. This trick 99.99% probably won't work for HotS though. | ||

another question: How do I find the B.net code of someone? Only way I've seen so far to find someone else's code, is if they've made a forum post on the b.net forums and I click their name it pops up next to profile/posts thing. Can't seem to find it otherwise. It's someone i've played and messaged on battle.net, if I could find it that way. | ||

You used to be able to through sites like sc2ranks but a blizz broke it intentionally, iirc. | ||

If i scout the toss base with an overlord i might see some gates and a robo. Naturally (because its ladder) i assume its a 2base robo all-in and start pumping roach/ling, but then he might just expand at 9-10minutes and if i attack his third with what i have its a bit risky as i might not break it. Are there any clues that tell you toss is thinking of taking a third rather than 2basing? | ||

Lots of experimenting with stargate builds, if youre into that Go watch some pro players to get more in-depth | ||

Why do 7gates, 4gate +1, 8gates, and 7gate +2 blink all-ins even exist anymore? Why would Protoss do a build that can be beaten by scouting + reacting, instead of doing immortal/sentry which is actually unbeatable as long as you prevent a basetrade? 2 extra cannons + 1 zealot and then you're guaranteed to win every game... | ||

First of all, is there a better place to ask map editor question? If not, how do you make a map where you can zoom out more far than usual melee map? For example, when I play "phantom mode" arcade game, I can zoom out with mouse wheel to see my entire base within 1 screen, while on ladder, you cannot zoom out that far. I know a bit about map editor, but I couldn't find out how to do this seemingly simple stuff. Thank you in advance. Edit: Thanks to lyerbeth, I got answer in a thread I was directed. Thank you.
