But right clicking anywhere except on a mineral patch just moves my rallypoint for units. Do you mean right clicking the hatch itself?

I already searched; is there an all-purpose guide to playing Terran? There seem to be far more such resources for Zerg, and as a Zerg trying to learn some Terran, I'm a bit lost. The Liquipedia "Terran Strategy" section of Liquipedia II is not bad, but I was hoping for a thread with more details.

Oh the workers rally is missing too. hmm that is interesting... im not sure if right clicking on the hatch would do this but it is possible. Try it out in a custom game or something. Its defiantly because you have the hatch on the same hotkey tho. I think most zergs only have the queen on the hotkey. You can also use backspace to cycle through bases.

Check out these two threads. The first one is a Terran specific compilation of guides that we've deemed useful in the TeamLiquid community.
The second thread is very similar except its all purpose for all races and even has other non race specific guides. There may be some overlapping, but in general everything you need to start off should be there.

I have one, I attempted to search for it already but I couldn't find the answer specifically.
When a pro is moving multiple dropships, or overlords, I can see them dropping units individually as the overlord/dropship moves. I can understand how this works with a single dropship, you click on the portrait of the unit in the dropship as it moves across.
How is this accomplished with multiples? Unless its the pro mass switching between dropships and spamming pictures.

Am I correct in assuming, based on my research and what you guys have provided, that there is no single "[G] Terran" thread of value in this forum? It seems really weird that the least technical race (Zerg) which admittedly new players have the hardest time learning has the most guide threads.

What you are looking for is too broad. You can't just make a guide for Terran and call it good. There are so many aspects to the race that you can't cover every single situation. Terran is generally regarded to as the race with the most versatility and tech paths. With this many options, we illicit other responses from the opposing races and the decision trees start to branch out.
What we have come up with as a community so far is a compilation of builds and strategies that work in certain situations, whether its builds where we are setting the pace of the game or turtling and macroing up for a timing push.
Instead, I recommend you play a few games first, unbiased by other builds or suggestions. From there, you will get a feel for your own Terran playstyle. From that starting point, you can then delve into guides related to your topic and expand your knowledge from that. It's just too much to be asking to find a "one size fits all" Terran guide. You'll have to be more specific unfortunately.

I've played a few dozen at gold/plat level, and I just get demolished because I don't know how to respond to much of anything, which was very important as a zerg player. The only guides I see are very build-order-specific. I'd even settle for a mech guide, or a bio guide, etc., not necessarily something comprehensive. But I feel that I will miss out on crucial knowledge that spans the matchups if I focus on any matchup-specific guides.

I think learning a 1/1/1 opener would be a good place for you to start. It gives you access to all the tech routes of Terran early on, lets you defend early pressure decently and will give you the ability to play reactively, something Zerg players are used to. This will allow you to play games without getting crushed and also get a feel for game timings against all races as well as allowing you to learn how to respond with which units.
Basically, you just need to play more games and understand what you need to improve on in general. Find a simple TvX build like 1/1/1 or 2 Rax expand and go from there.

Sorry if it was asked again, but what was the grpah setting that allowed you to kinda see stealth units even if they are cloaked ?

I dunno, but I see that with everything on lowest settings (Mac). You shouldn't have to do anything special. I believe higher settings are needed to see burrow movement.

Which high level, professional Protoss players frequently post in this Strategy board?
|
How do I bind attack move to another key? I can't seem to find it in the SC2 hotkey options.
Edit: Found it through better TL searching. Select a random unit in the hotkey menu and attack move is available to be changed, (for anyone interested).

High diamond zerg, what do I do in ZvP when a protoss walls in the bottom of my ramp with 3 pylons then proceeds to cannon rush?

u type gg and leave.
if he gets up the cannons you will be very far behind so if you have a drone outside on the map try to take another expansion.
Ideally u don't want to be in the position at all. If you scout that he has a forge and you have your overlord placed outside your ramp, you should try to pull a drone if the probe is being suspicious and just block the bottom of your ramp when he is trying to put down pylons.
If you don't have any drones outside on the map and can't expand you should just try to break it with roaches or banelings and follow it up with some kind of all-in. Or you can go nydus or try some wierd allin

If you go hatch first, it's best to cancel the hatch and try and do some kind of all in, (hydra ling nydus for example; the protoss tech should be too far behind to defend this). If you gas/pool do some kind of roach rush > expo. You'll be able to deny his expo from going up for a long time and force some kind of one base play in response.
Masters zerg.
