Question: If you are Terran, and you were to attack a single scv who is mining with a hellion, do you do splash damage to the scvs next to him or do you just do single target damage? This would come into play if a Protoss player rushes DT and the Terran player was going for a hellion drop and has no detection. I believe the splash will still hit the DT and your single SCV, but not the others. It would be a quick and dirty way to deal with DTs when it's early in the game and you haven't got detection or enough energy for a scan

Single target damage, it will hit the one targetted SCV only (and the DT) but not your other SCVs.

I am curious as to what do you guys transition on after you go for the Roach push. I usually go for the Muta Brood Lord combination since I get a lot of ZvT matches during my laddering. What about ZvP or ZvZ, what are the possible things to do after a Roach opener, specifically a 5 Roach Opener with a Fast Expand? I could use the ideas for what I should do in future matches.

In a 15 nexus build vs z if he is massing roaches is it better to 6 gate and get blink stalkers or 4 gate and immortals? Also if I go blink stalkers is the +1 attack or +1 shield a better upgrade

In the early game yes mainly in Tvt and zvt when used as early harass So u can keep kiting

Whenever they make less than 4 lings let the pylon finish! If they make four, pylon block but cancel it before it dies. If they make more than 4 you can just forget about it. If the pylon finishes and your probe is around (should be hidinig), then make a Cyber core if there's four or less lings!

Quick question:

I want to do 2 Gate Robo opening and normally go 13 Gate, 14 Gas, 16 Pylon, 17 Core, 18 Zealot, 21 Gas, 23 Stalker, 25 Pylon.

I like to squeeze in the zealot while the Core builds, then get a Stalker to deny scouting. Now assuming I build probes continuously, no matter how hard i practice, I always get briefly supply blocked on 26 (my probe and sentry are waiting to be produced). Is this OK? Its a brief supply block but im conscious that any supply block that early can be detrimental.

My only other solution is to cut probes slightly and build a pylon on 22 (in favour of getting that stalker/zealot).

Sorry if it seems a bit pedantic - but im told that every little bit (esp early game) counts!

yes it is okay, as protoss u always either get supply blocked for a brief moment or are forced to cut probes a second long - assuming that u build a standard 2 gas build with a zealot and stalker

what is the easiest tvz build to not fuck up?

you should see how dumb my games are usually i get good bunker placement with my 2raxx and kill one of their hatches and then transition into blue flame hellions and then transition into marine marauder and the game is so low tech and dumb for at LEAST 20 mins.. last game i went from 2fact blue flame hellion into 2 port cloaked banshee lol

i just started playing terran 2 weeks ago but right now im at 817 master (accurate for my race)

you shouldn't think about "easy" but about sustainabiltity of the build u're using
i mean, it isn't effective if u learn a build that u can execute easily, but with which u won't archieve any success when u're facing stronger players

start using something like 2 rax pressure into tank marine expansion etc. your blueflame and banshee play might be an option, if u want to have different strategies, but rather use the aforementioned build if u aim at success on higher level
