EPTthis is the game, now i'll say at the start that it's my first time ever trying the 3gate sentry expand, i prefer abusive builds but they tend to fail rather epicly on metalopolis and xel naga so i wanted to experiment with the supposed safe way to get into a macro game, which is something i have no problem with
my observerations
aside from butchering the opening and accidently having to cancel my first nexus cause i hit the start/windows key twice and therefore was unable to micro to save it
I found i overcommited to both of the first two attacks, although in the case of the second one, i kinda misread the situation and assumed he had overextended himself when he hadn't
i feel like i could've won on the first attack had he not had a macro hatch up as i went at a funky although probably inadvisable timing
i also thought i was a little too lacksidaisy with getting my 4th and 5th base, especially as i never intended to get the gold ( i go for the 12 natural but it's creeped)
I felt i did well with target firing the broodlords and bringing them down relatively quickly, as well as forcing the confrontation at the gold base when he went after my mineral line
i thought i had good upgrades and a good way of doing it throughout, although of course i could be mistaken
I also felt a little confused as to whether or not i should transition in the late late game, and found myself panicking a little when he brought the ultras, although i did realize he was all in at that point
any advice anyone can give would be greatly appreciated, i'd love to gain a deeper understanding of the finer points of this matchup, especially as it tends to get quite tricky after the 25 minute mark
