Hi everyone! I just wanted to share my zerg opener that I have used almost every game, unless I scouted some sort of cheese or rush. Could someone just let me know if this is already a strategy or has already been posted, as I am planning on submitting this build to Liquipedia II. This build is a very flexible zerg opener that you can use in every match up. The build is: 10 scouting drone 14 pool 13 gas 2 drones immediately 1 overlord immediately @100% gas, 3 drones on to gas When your pool is finished, you should have 300 minerals, and 3 larvae. (and if it matters, around 25 gas) Usually what I do is get a queen and either 3 lings or drones depending on what I scout.
Hope this helped

Well technically a flexible open is a standard opening would you not think :/

That build actual has constraints depending whether you're going speedlings or roaches or banelings, because you're getting the gas at a fairly good time for those things, however if one were to say want to FE. [Which 14 pool 15 hatch is actually pretty common]

This is such a great build: Because everyone and their mother uses it ;p

15 pool 16 hatch
Standard but works so well just as long as you make sure to scout for cheese and rushes.

lol standard buld, that can transistion into anything. I use it every game too lol Actually, mine's the same up till the 14 pool. lol.
Then 13 gas if bling bust/roaches
15/16 hatch if they FE forge. Leads to anything. The options are endless =D

=P I find this good for all match ups , not just for zvp

I almost never get gas that early in my builds due to wanting a stronger 2 hatch eco / the ablity to keep pumping lings for early pressure. Hmm maybe I should try some early gas thou.

my build normally starts with a drone

It's a standard build, but still pretty impressive you worked it out on your own! I just read on the forums instead
