Right now im playing DS on SCBW and have played DS on SCBW for awhile, theres alot of players still on SCBW playing DS. The DS development has really improved the quality of playing DS on SCBW. Mostly because the balance and the gameplay of a DS battle is so good today. I played DS on sc2 like 5 years ago and i think the income strategy was off, the balance could be improved. Mostly i didnt like the sc2 DS back 5 years ago because you the timing on adding the units meant too much like the Snowball effect - when units spawned have short distance to catch up on the mass left from last spawn, meaning the mass near your home base stacks up slow into too a huge snowball and totally overwhelm the enemy cause either defence is too weak or theres too little time inbetween the spawns. this made the choices of the units you spawning not matter that much cause you could do this snowball with alot of unit types. and then game just ended from there so in sc2 DS gameplay there would be like a start push and then maybe 1 small snowball than 1 huge snowball that ended the game.. I wasnt that big fan of it because of that back then im mostly thinking about DS hots for sc2 in this matter cause that was the most played DS back then. but also the other DS versions i tryid and thought the gameplay was abit off in all of them back then. DS for SCBW has this snowball effect too but it dosent work in the same way just winning the game so fast. DS for scbw has huge mass end game and nearly all cases it dosent lag. The need of apm while playing DS for SCBW is increased cause theres added more strategy to the gameplay. The DS scene for SCBW is very much alive and 2 months ago there was a 1v1 tournament with 65dollar prize pool and today theres a 2v2 tournament with 50dollar prize pool beeing launched. Im just curious for the reason i should go back and try DS for sc2 again as one of my friend says its good too play today. My friend is talking about theres now 20+ hero fractions meaning theres not only 3 races to play with in DS for SC2 can this be explained to me? | ||
