This map is a re-skin/re-textured version of the live map. All minerals have been replaced by gold minerals for diversity™. In addition, I was able to speak directly to Dustin Browder for advise on rock placements, adding a total of 18 different types of rocks across the map.
This map has been endorsed by Fenn3r, State, Nathanias, Kaitlyn, and many others.

A very good map, my only concern is that the rush distance between the two main is a bit too long. This would deter some of the more creative strategic options.

for the next map, keep the gold minerals on every base but also make the rush distance of Ulrena, the third very far away like Central Protocol, the natural choke as impossible to wall-off as lerilak crest and name it "King Kim Station" i look forward to seeing that map win the map submission contest and playing it in the next season.

You missed a detail: gold bases have 6 mineral. You just replaced all the blue minerals with gold ones.

I think the main and natural bases should also have high yield vespene for maximum creativity.

because the only thing it does is adjust the scales of the economy, something the game isn't designed around, you're effectively breaking economic balance for absolutely no good reason.

I have, but I never published it, and the reason probably now one has published them is because historically we simply never had the reason to, never had the incentive to, actually we were de-incentived to create such maps in favour of more standard or "well thought out" maps, in the light that if we did create heavily nonstandard maps we would be looked down upon with disdain and compared to "Blizzard maps" or worst.
But anyways, I caught up one of the games (or at least part of before I had to leave) and it seemed pretty fun to look at, I mean there is a reason why DKim and the devteam think that wacky maps produce wacky games, and they are right, it is just their implementation of the maps that's an issue.

I honestly feel a map with all gold minerals and rich vespene geysers would produce some seriously hella fun games to watch. I think map makers out there should go for it. Uvantak, you should either submit the one you made before or make a new one and submit it.

Heh, but anyways, given that we have 5 slots to send maps I may actually send a crazy idea in there, I still haven't decided what to send and still have some time to flesh out some maps (albeit they will end with little testing and tweaking).
