Still won't get any achievement? You can' t load save files not made with your account apparently. They probably just hash your account details in the save files to stop you from doing that. @SiskosGoatee: I really don't think it's true. I've tried loading SC2Save someone posted on another forum and the save works for me. I was able to resume the game (EU account): www.speedyshare.com/6nstn/Trying-savegame.SC2SaveUnfortunately I'm unable to verify if it'd get me the achievement as I've these completed already. Can anyone please check if it works? This is for the following achievement: **************************************** Brutal LegendDon't take damage from the Archangel in the "Back in the Saddle" mission on Normal difficulty**************************************** 1) Will this save give you the achievement? 2) If not. try to load it, then SAVE IT AGAIN IMMEDIATELY, and load the new save. Thanks!
I got the achievement by loading your save and finishing the mission, so yes, it works. Thanks

I can also confirm that it works. May I ask anyone to upload more brutal / mastery savegames?
|
I would appreciate this, too!

Free achievement points, where do I sign?
Make a save for ludicrous speed, I'm pulling my hair out over that at the moment.

Would really love this aswell! I have done most of 'em but some are just annoying and getting boring. xD

Instead of everyone just asking for achievements lets all get on tonight and make a save to share that way we can get this thread rolling! I have the first five missions complete on brutal and I'm willing to beat more of them but it would be nice for others to help out as well because grinding these out gets really boring. I will start posting mine once I get time, hopefully tonight. Please don't just ask, share!

I understand getting them more portraits. But, achievement points? Really guys?

Damn, wish they fixed this. Another fail.

...and the ' cheater ' get the ACM too. Blizzard c`mon and fix that...

It removes all fun about it. I am sure you will have much more fun when you find creative ways yourself in order to beat a hard challenge other than letting someone else do it for you. Who cares why he's doing it? He wants to get them this way then let him. Thousands of people did it in SC1. He probably just wants the picture. What about hacks? Should people not care about them too?
The fact is while this is definitely such a minor and insignificant thing, it's still cheating which I don't think TL condones. Sure people can get saves, but I don't see why teamliquid would/should endorse it based off their stance on this kind of stuff. That's what I'd say people objecting to the OP are saying: don't get help from us, do it yourself or don't cheat; of course he doesn't want to hear people's opinions, but nor do newbies want to hear that they just plain suck, or that cheaters shouldn't cheat, or that racism is bad, or other stuff, but that doesn't mean people still can't say it. The OP doesn't own the thread and no one has to fulfill his request just because he made a thread about it.
My post may seem far in favor of not using the saves but FYI I do see both sides and am on the fence. Like someone said, they are pretty boring; many people may have the skill to complete them normally but not want to waste so much time to prove it (then again many may just think that and be wrong or, or many may even know they couldn't do it easily without many attempts & practice)

To anyone trying to get Kerrigan 70 and wondering why redoing missions from the master archives doesn't work:
The game ONLY checks whether or not to award Kerrigan 70 once; at the end of Conviction, the mission where you save Jim and head off to Korhal afterwards. That mission gives you 9+2 levels, and if you go in at level 59 and finish the mission and bonus objectives, you'll get the 70 achievement. That means you need to load a save from the Conviction mission (or any prior mission, if you don't have one), and quit to the Leviathan, not back out the master archives. This essentially resets your campaign progress to that point. Go to the mission archives in the Leviathan, replay whatever missions you missed Kerrigan levels on. When you're level 59, play Conviction, and you'll get it.
Afterwards play the Korhal missions again to re-complete the campaign and re-unlock the master archives or whatever.

@Iranon the problem for me is that i do not have a recent save file from the time that i was in-campaign. Recently i was getting all the achievements through the master archives and those recent save have been replaced by new ones. Can anyone upload a save file of the conviction level WHILE STILL in leviathan ? please and thanks
