I am sure you will have much more fun when you find creative ways yourself in order to beat a hard challenge other than letting someone else do it for you. Who cares why he's doing it? He wants to get them this way then let him. Thousands of people did it in SC1. He probably just wants the picture. To OP no idea. Haven't actually tried yet.

It looks like you're just annoyed that other people can get the achievements. @op have you tried sharing a mission with a friend and seeing if they get one of the easier achievements?

Luckily I got my Kerrigan Portrait right before that patch went live ^_^. However for HOTS I'm currently doing my first run and playing it on Brutal. To be honest the games more enjoyable. However some Bonus achievements are impossible to complete on Brutal, so I beat the level on Brutal and replay on casual to get the bonus levels.

Still won't get any achievement?

I've tried loading SC2Save someone posted on another forum and the save works for me. I was able to resume the game (EU account): www.speedyshare.com/6nstn/Trying-savegame.SC2Save Unfortunately I'm unable to verify if it'd get me the achievement as I've these completed already. Can anyone please check if it works? This is for the following achievement: **************************************** Brutal Legend Don't take damage from the Archangel in the "Back in the Saddle" mission on Normal difficulty **************************************** 1) Will this save give you the achievement? 2) If not. try to load it, then SAVE IT AGAIN IMMEDIATELY, and load the new save. Thanks!

I missed 3 levels throughout the campaign, and upon retrieving them and replaying the final mission, I haven't gotten credit (it says I'm currently at level 46 o.o). Anyone? In the Leviathan, select archive. Replay mission on casual. Speed run and pick up the level. I'm currently playing on brutal, on one level I couldn't get the Level while beating it on Brutal. So i just replayed the mission through archive on casual and got the level. FYI: Casual is so hilarious that they don't let you change rally points.

You get access to the evolution strains as if the mission you selected was done as late as possible - so even if you did the roach/hydra planet before the baneling/whatever planet, you'd have roach/hydra on a re-play of a baneling-planet mission. Also in casual you can change hatchery rally points, you just have to use the waypoint hotkey rather than being able to right click somewhere.

No, Master Archives doesn't work (at least not the 4-5 ways I've tried it) so I guess it means going back through on Hard, getting mastery, and just getting the levels as a consequence. Oh well, was just looking to skirt that annoying method.

I say this because I was half-way through the final map on brutal, but had to leave and wanted to finish on another computer. So, I emailed the save file to myself, finished the map on a different computer, and got the 20 brutal wins achievement when i beat it. same account. not arguing the same thing as people above are. they're saying if it's not the same account you can't load the save

Make a save for ludicrous speed, I'm pulling my hair out over that at the moment.

The fact is while this is definitely such a minor and insignificant thing, it's still cheating which I don't think TL condones. Sure people can get saves, but I don't see why teamliquid would/should endorse it based off their stance on this kind of stuff. That's what I'd say people objecting to the OP are saying: don't get help from us, do it yourself or don't cheat; of course he doesn't want to hear people's opinions, but nor do newbies want to hear that they just plain suck, or that cheaters shouldn't cheat, or that racism is bad, or other stuff, but that doesn't mean people still can't say it. The OP doesn't own the thread and no one has to fulfill his request just because he made a thread about it. My post may seem far in favor of not using the saves but FYI I do see both sides and am on the fence. Like someone said, they are pretty boring; many people may have the skill to complete them normally but not want to waste so much time to prove it (then again many may just think that and be wrong or, or many may even know they couldn't do it easily without many attempts & practice)

The game ONLY checks whether or not to award Kerrigan 70 once; at the end of Conviction, the mission where you save Jim and head off to Korhal afterwards. That mission gives you 9+2 levels, and if you go in at level 59 and finish the mission and bonus objectives, you'll get the 70 achievement. That means you need to load a save from the Conviction mission (or any prior mission, if you don't have one), and quit to the Leviathan, not back out the master archives. This essentially resets your campaign progress to that point. Go to the mission archives in the Leviathan, replay whatever missions you missed Kerrigan levels on. When you're level 59, play Conviction, and you'll get it. Afterwards play the Korhal missions again to re-complete the campaign and re-unlock the master archives or whatever.
