ikill11 United States26 Posts February 01 2013 23:03 GMT #1 Hello everyone, I have finally been able to learn how to design SC2 overlays for streamers with a help of a friend. Here are some examples of some of my overlays. If you guys are interested in one, shoot me a PM and I would be glad to work on some. When contacting me please include the following: Name: Team name(if you are in one) Race: Color: League: Additional design idea's: I will stream the whole process so you can see what I am doing and if there are changes needed then we can do it on the spot. Meltage Germany613 Posts February 11 2013 10:30 GMT #7 I'm the only one who dislike? Sorry, but I feel the urge to be frank about it. There's no quality here except the actual overlay shape. You should get some graphic artist do the rest, imho. Overall, from these three I like the second one the most beacuse it's subtle - it's less disturbing. The first one will be too disturbing to ppls eyes, being so light (a stark contrast to what we see in the game, unless its a ice map, and even then - thats too much white on the screen at once) and the last one's ugly link texture has so many details it takes a lot of focus from the spectator. So you need somethgin sublte, alternatively very clean or preferably a style that blends with the current UI ingame. The standard layer styles used is ok, like drop shadow and emboss, but I woudl change the properties of thsoe so that they are more subtle as well, because they look quite artifical to soemone used to them. What I DO like is the upper overlay in the last one. The logo label-thingy. More like that.

Icey look with blue in there. Additional Design Ideas: None love the texture of first and layout of second one! I would love a squirrel on there if you could. Not a realistic one.
