But won't Drilling Claws be toxic towards the dynamics of the game?

Not really. With the widow maker never actually cloaking, the drilling claws just means that its a quicker time from starting to deploy the mine to when the mine is planted. The Widow Maker never actually cloaks.

So what do you think of this idea?


Wasn't that the orginial idea which inspired Dustin Browder to make the current version of the Widow Mine?

Yeah, there were a lot of ideas floating around about making a mine-spawner instead of a detonating mine back when it was 1 shot insta use.

Been finding it pretty hard to get games with the times I'm on. Gonna try to stay up for the next few hours, if anyone is on I'd appreciate someone to play against

The trailer is pretty solid.

Skitz; you are having trouble finding games because you live in Southern Ameristrelia, us Northern Ameristrelians will be happy to play with you if you send us word in advance. We are still building up a consistent player base. You also can tell your friends. :D

hey hey, just played my first game of OneGoal! I love this game so much already. One thing I'd really like, is a bar that shows the cooldown for warpgates on the main screen. Is this something that's already been suggested? Would it be very difficult to do?

Nice, JaK! As far as I'm aware, doing something like that would take triggers and somebody to get the animation shown, along with modifying the UI. It is possible, but I'm not sure how easy that would really be (I have very little experience with the editor).

In any case, how'd you enjoy it? My personal favorite change for protoss is the robo tech: Sentries and colossus are absolutely terrifying. My other favorite is the reduced effectiveness Warp Gate altogether. I'd suggest after researching Warp Gate that you convert two or three Gateways into Warp Gates for shenaniganry and emergency provisions, and macroing off of the rest of them as you would normally. It really is a different dynamic that feels so right!

I really like the new warpgate and I like the sentry/immortal swap. I feel like with flat damage the stalker will be really strong, especially with that range upgrade.

EDIT: I thought of this change because there is a timer for chronoboosts now, which wasn't there before!

The timer for chronoboost I think should be in the vanilla game anyways. They already have one for larva inject, it baffles me how blizzard missed that one. If there is any change blizzard WILL make from OneGoal it is definitely the chrono bar. No excuses.

I agree, this kind of stuff should have been in the game a long time ago. I suppose they think it would clutter the screen too much. But even then, make it an option!

Hey I just watched the games I played that got casted.. as soon as I saw myself put down that roach warren against Dakota I thought "Wow, these guys are about to be severely disappointed in me!" :D Pretty humiliating performance all told.. but this will only give me motivation to come back stronger!! For the Swarm!!
